[教学过程]
一.创设情境,切入主题。
Step1.Lead in.
Ask students if they like learning English and what they usually do when they study English.
T:Do you like learning English?
Ss:Yes!
T:What do you usually do when you study English?
S1:I often read English books.
T:(To class)You study English by reading English books?That's a good way to learn English. What about you?
Ss:....
二.展开过程探究新知。
Step2.Presentation.
1.Continue the conversation above present the topic sentences.
T: How do you study English?
Ss:I listen to English songs.
T: You start English by listening to English songs ,and you?
Write down the sentences on the blackboard!
2.Ask students how they study English, make them focus on the structure "I study English by" especially the form of verbs and write them on the blackboard.
3.Ask students to look at the picture on the screen, make students focus on the picture and encourage them to talk about it.

要求学生听录音,完成1a和1b,听之前教师要要求学生听完后回答相关问题。
Step4 work on one 1c
1.Ask students to talk about the people in 1b.
2.Let students to make up their own conversations in pairs, talking about their own ways to learn English.
3.Ask several pairs to act out their conversations.
Step 5.Listening to 2a and 2b.
听录音,完成二a和二b教师要求学生在听的过程中注意生词并猜测其意义。
Step 6 Work on 2C
Ask students to make conversations in pairs using the information in 2a and 2b.
Step 7. Role play the conversation in 2d
1.Ask your students some questions about 2d
2.Play the recording and get students to listen and repeat and then role play the conversation.
3.Let students make up their own conversations in pairs and act it out.
