新SAT语法考点解析(1)-任慧茹

SAT改革后，语法满分遇到了前所未有的阻力——准确用词。对纯语法知识点，经全面系统的培训，孩子们可以达到100%的准确率，semi-reading可以利用很多解题策略和技巧，也可以达到96%~98%的准确率，但考查到准确用词时，好多孩子不得不摆出一切随缘的态度，全靠语感。接下来我和大家分享下，如何突破瓶颈，直击我们的致命弱项——准确用词。

先看准确用词考查要点：

1.考查书面语用词， 如“I like rock music.”与“I am fascinated by rock music.”相比，我们会选择“be fascinated by”。题目选项中会包含书面语和口语，不难区分。

2.考查词性，即adj, adv, doing, done和n.用法

答案选B，have experienced是动词，后加宾语，宾语用名词或者动名词。Reduce这个词本身有名词形式，根据简洁性规则n＞doing，就不用doing

3. 考查词汇辨析

选项特点1）   选择他义词：

答案选C， 大家选对了么？在选项中，gain=develop=earn=acquire 均表示获得、得到，而promote表示促进、提升，故选C

选项特点2）  结合语境：

答案选C，本题首先要辨析词义，A) gunky黏糊的东西；B) Gross 草木茂盛的; C)  Syrupy （稠度、黏度）糖浆般的; D) Bituminous 沥青的、烟煤的。然后结合语境，“This residue… ”这句话是对上一句的解释。把选项代入，从茎挤压出蔗汁，加热蔗汁到沸腾，留下糖浆般的溶液，将溶液倒入越来越小的容器，直至得到最大的浓度。

选项特点C 同义词辨析

答案选C， 根据后文“outspoken, well-educated, and quickly developed the reputation”判定选正向词汇。题中protruding, prominent, 和obtrusive均有突出的意思，但是有很大的区别，A. protruding 突出、鼓出, stick out from a place; B. obtrusive有贬义，指noticeable in an unpleasant way, 眨眼的、过分的炫耀； C. prominent 突出、显著，well-known; D. ostentatious 意为招摇的、夸耀的，贬义。

选项特点D 形近词辨析

比如profession 与professional的区别，前者表示专业，后者表示专家。

所以针对准确用词，1区分词性，2准确使用书面语，3辨析同义及他义，4看形近，5看语境。准确用词强调的是词汇的逐步积累，掌握OG、真题及模拟题的高频词汇，是突破准确用词瓶颈的必由之路。
