On the one hand, it cannot be denied that teamwork abilities are playing an indispensable role in work, with the fact that work is becoming highly specialized and clear-cut division of labor. Under this circumstance, you can never accomplish a piece of work on your own completely, which means that you have to work in the team. On the other hand, if the work is allocated to the whole group without further allocation to individuals, the work may not be completed well in the end. Taking the agriculture cooperatives during the period of the Great Leap Forward as an example, the productivity then was extremely low. However, when it was transformed into household contract responsibility system, the crop skyrocketed immediately. Obviously, the increasing yield should be attributed to the system, which allowed people to work independently, taking family as a unit who share the common goals and interests.
Based on the above analysis, it is not difficult to reach a conclusion that the project can be finished better in the case that every group member work independently toward the joint goals.
