Recently, It is no denying that Green food is now becoming more and more popular. There are two reasons to this issue. First, people are much wealthier than before. With a higher income, they can afford to buy good foods .Another reason is that people have realized the importance of a balanced diet to their health. There have been some changes nowadays in the diet of the Chinese. For example, grain, the main food of most people in China, is now playing a less important role, while the consumption of high-nutrition food such as milk, meat has increased. To sum up, insignificant as those changes may seem, they are the signs of the improved economic condition in China, and we believe that as the effort in the modernization movement continues, there will be greater changes in people's diet in the future.

2. Finding a job, further study or going abroad, which will you choose and how do you prepare to achieve the goal?

In my opinion, actually, I’d like to choose the last one, going abroad. Firstly, from the aspect of my major itself. My major is civil engineering. If we want to get further in our field, we must know and learn the newest information, knowledge and technology. There is no doubt that the development outside is faster than our own country. Secondly, from the aspect of our future. As we all known, many of us would like to find a good job and get a fine salary in the end. If we finally learn and get something we really want, we can easily let the simplest dream above come true. Thirdly and lastly, the competition abroad is more fierce than inside. The environment can easily stimulate our potential to do our work or research much better. We must benefit it and grow better and faster. And at last, we will really thank it from our heart.       

3. You find your best friend is smoking, and you want to stop him /her, so you talk with him /he 

It is known to everyone that smoking is harmful to our health. Many experts said that smoking causes lung cancer, heart disease and various respiratory illnesses. I want to show you a fact. I have read a report in the newspaper. A certain student in a middle school smoked and he wouldn't get rid of the bad habit. Though, his teacher and friends warned him not to smoke any more. He even stole money to get cigarettes and was pat into prison in the end. This really gave us a shock. As we all know smoking is very harmful to our health. It does great harm not only to our health, but also to our mind, especially for us teenagers. Now more and more people all over the world have given up smoking or have made up their minds to do so, I think we are the future builders of our country. We should study hard and make progress every day. We should take more effects doing more meaningful things ,such as study and sports.

No, I don't think so. Love for beauty is an inherent nature of humane beings. Everyboby has his or her own view of looking at beauty. Pursuing beauty makes mankind progress and makes our life rich, colorful and meaningful. Nowadays, girls, fat or slim always say to their partners, I am going to lose weight. It seems that girls are crazy about making themselves thinning to fit the fashion clothes. Pop stars, especially those super models, tend to be slimmer and slimmer. For some women stars, the slimmer they became, the more popular they will be. They force a feeling on us that thin girls are more beautiful. However, In the Tang Dynasty, people believed that fat was beautiful. Beauty standards are always changed .As far as I concerned, health is the most important.

5. How would you like to get rid of your stress in daily life? Please share your experiences with your partner.

In today's society, everyday we may face some kind of stress and difficulties from work, school or family. In order to escape them, people have different methods. Some read, some exercise, while others work in their gardens. From my point of view, I would like to use different ways according to different stress. First, the stress from work and school may be the most common stress. In this circumstance, I like to listen to music, especially some inspiring music. When I appreciate it, I can transiently forget those unpleasant things and let my head sober. After listening to those inspiring music, I feel that I am full of encourage overcoming difficulties. Then I will calmly analyse my circumstance and find the way to solve problems. If my stress comes from my family or my friends( for example, some misunderstanding and squabbles), I think that the best way to erase this stress is a sinere conversation. I will positively converse with my relatives and friends. I hope that I can know what is their opinion and also let them understand me. I feel that when we understand each other, all conflict will disappear. In a word, everyone can find the best way that is suitable for himself/herself. But conservation and appreciating music are the most suitable for me to erase stress.

6. Do you think surfing on the Internet can help you? And how?

With the development of computer technology, the internet has become more and more popular. First I can surf the internet for any information I need in a short time without working hard in the library; besides it is convenient to communicate with others by using the internet. The last, the world moves much faster than before because of the information exchange and speedy processing of data. I can guess how much business can grow if a spreadsheet need to be calculated using three days instead of one second nowadays. 

7. Do you believe in love at first sight? What’s your definition of “true love”?

No.. Love doesn’t mean that when you need his help, you will treat him to dinner, or when you have to protect yourself, you will put him in a difficult situation. On the contrary, love is always the communication of the hearts and understanding of the souls. Love stays in your heart, rather than at your side; he knows you more than yourself, and try to better you; he cares you as much as himself, but never let you know. He cherishes you, for he knows without you he is struggling alone in the desert. On your side, you will feel the same. 

8. Do you like developing friendship or love with a key pal(网友)? Why or why not?

As society becomes more and more advanced, we can anticipate that computer palys a more and more important role on our daily life, and it is one of the good ways to make friends. But we must keep ourselves cool when make friends or ever developing love on line. for net is virtual, and we can't see him or she, and what he said is only one side of the coin. However, maybe he is very nice and you want further development. In my opinion, first, you should known he quite clear, and then make you decision after a lot of consideration. So, we needn’t have to keep away from it, but just let things go as it is to be.

10. Do you often judge people by appearances? How do you think about it?

No .True beauty comes from one's actions rather than one's appearance. While most of us enjoy pretty appearances, it is more important to cultivate a clean and beautiful soul. If we judge a person by their appearances , this tells people more about ourselves than it does about that person . If the only quality that we value in a person is how well he dresses or how attractive he looks , then we can see into ourselves , and understand that the things that we really do value are those very superficial qualities  

11. Do you think honesty is going out of style ?why or why not?

No. Through our lives, we can gain a lot and lose so much. But being honest should always be with us. If we bear ourselves in a deceptive and dishonest way, we may succeed temporarily. However, from the long-term view, we will be a loser. Such kind of people are just like the water on the mountain. It stands high above the masses at the beginning, but gradually it comes down inch by inch and loses the chance of going up. I know honesty is sometimes mistaken for being a jerk or whatever, but I think it's still important or at least should be.

12. Are you afraid of making mistakes? What helps you overcome them? Can you give an example?

I am not afraid of making mistakes and sometimes I don't mind it. In my opinion, people make mistakes due to unknowing the skills or the solution ways which can be understood. Making mistakes helps people realize what should be improved, what should be avoided, what should be paid more attention to. In my experience, I've made some mistakes every time, every where. Making mistakes is no more than re-doing, restarting. Try my best to overcome it, with courage, preservance and optimistic spirit.

I remember that when I was a freshman, I was not good at English. And I failed in the final English exam. but I didn't give up myself. From then on, when I had English classes, I listened to the teacher carefully. When my English teacher asked a question, I never lost the chance to answer it, even though I would make some mistakes. At that time, I said to myself it doesn't matter. After a period of time, I found that my English was greatly improved, especially my oral English. Just as the saying goes, everything comes to him who waits.

13.Have you ever cheated on exams or thought of cheating on exams? What are the reasons?

No, I've never cheated in exams. But to be honest I once thought of doing it. That's a maths exam which I am not good at, I'm afraid of not passing it, so I consider maybe I can ask my friends to help me in exams. Later, I thought if I cheat, then I'll be a cheat to be distained by others, then, my self-esteem stopped to do so. Luckly, I passed the exam.

14. What kind of feeling do you have when you are praised? How do you feel when you are blam?

    I pay no attention whatever to anybody’s praise or blame. I simply follow my own feelings.”People often want to be praised and like positive attention but want to be able to not take negative criticism to heart. But the two go together. To be able to give up one you have to give up your craving for the other too. That doesn’t mean that you can’t be happy if someone gives you a compliment. It just means that you don’t need the praise. You are sure enough of yourself to not need or rely on praise from everyone anymore to feel good about yourself. You validate yourself. Instead of seeking everyone else’s validation in a rat race that you can keep running in for the rest of your life. Because other people’s validation will never be enough. You may be satisfied for a while. But soon the ego wants a little more.

15. If a foreigner comes to visit our university, how do you make a brief introduction of our campus to him or her?

Central South University (CSU) is a comprehensive and national key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education in China. CSU was established in April, 2000 on the basis of the amalgamation of the three former individual universities, namely Central South University of Technology, Hunan Medical University and Changsha Railway University. CSU is situated in Changsha, Hunan.The school campus covers an area of 24.7 million square meters of land, surrounded with trees to beautify the environment. The construction area is over 20.3 million square meters. consisting of a high-tech office building, an education building, a state-of-the-art lab building, and a multi-function building.  In the 21st century, as the internationalization proceeds, the economy will become more and more globalized and knowledge-required and there will be a great boom in the development of science and technology. The society also will need learned talents. Facing this challenge, CSU is now struggling for the goal of constructing of a high-level, research oriented comprehensive university well-known both at home and abroad.

16. Your friends ask you to go to see a film this evening. You don't want to go as you have a lot of homework to do. What do you say to them?

I really would like to go to see the film, which my favorite actors act for it. But unfortunately, I have a lot of homework to do, which my most strict teacher assigned. We must hand in them tomorrow morning. If we can’t finish them on time, can you imagine what will happen to us. You must remember the accident happened last time. Because of headache, I put off my homework for only half a day. Miss lee got angry and shouted to me “don’t take any excuses, study and finish work is the job god assign for student.” And she punished me to clean the toilet for a month. From then on, I try my best to finish any work on time. So I am so sorry. Hope you all can understand me.  

17. Can you describe the importance of self-confidence? Can you give some examples or tell your own experience about it? 

As a well-known proverb goes，self-confidence is the first step on the road to success．In my opinion，I really agree on it．Now in our daily life，the reason why so many people failed to cross the goals or realize the dreams is that they have no self-confidence in anything they do．As we know，nothing in our life can always run smoothly．As the hosts of the 21st century，we students should learn how to face the failure and challenge．So when we're in trouble，we should still keep having self-confidence in ourselves and never give up. Confidence is more than an attitude. It comes from knowing exactly where you are going and exactly how you are going to get there. It comes from acting with integrity and confidence. It comes from a strong sense of purpose. It comes from a strong commitment to take responsibility, rather than just letting life happen. 

18. What do you think a young person can learn from an old man?

It seems to me that the young do learn a lot from the old. Take a look at the way of a young person's life. The young are structured into opportunities for the old to instruct and guide the young. For instance, science we were born, our parents spent a lot of time teaching us skills like how to dress and walk and speak and write. Virtually all human cultures have their young studying in schools, sports, lessons, and the family.Sure, life is too complicated for each generation to teach the next one about all the details, and many things change from generation to generation. But the older have experienced more, each generation could at least make clear to the next the big timeless insights and strategies of life. From their experiences we can know, how to manage a career, how to live alone, how to be a good lover, friend, parent, spouse, employee, boss, etc. or what to watch out for when choosing such relations.  

19. Do you think who are more important, old friends or new friends? What’s the most important among friends?

As the Chinese proverb goes “by parents at home and by friends outside”. So having a lot of Sincere friends regardless of olds or news is important and a large wealth to any one .yet if must choose which more important , I want to choose the old friends. I will illustrate it from three parts:First one has a profound friend ship with their old friends because of long cognition and communion;Second an old friend may let you feeling more reliable and more likely give you real help in key moment.Third an old friend may bring us some fine memories. In sum,I think, friends should not be confused with acquaintances . Acquaintances are people whom you may see often .but , we could never share weal and woe with an acquaintance . 

20. Do you have any idea of the greenhouse effect?

Life on the earth depends on energy from the sun. About 30 percent of the sunlight that beams toward Earth is deflected by the outer atmosphere and scattered back into space, the rest will remain on the earth. The earth can be warm by it.Nowadays,with the development of science and technology, an increasing number of harmful gases emitted into the atmosphere.Because of this, the temperature is rising continuouslyThat is called "Global Warming ",which had already Led to "sea-level rise", "loss of snow cover

21. What’s your feeling about the earthquake in Wenchuang?

This is a disaster , not only for people living in Sichuan Province, but also for all people around the world. Children should be the most acutely affected by the earthquake ,Lots of children lost their parents, their houses,and even their lives.During these days, we were moved by so many people around. Whether it is in the front line or far from there, we all just want topray for Sichuan.Earthquake is impossible to predict. Since it have alreay happened, we have to face it positively.Anyone of us should take effect and do everything we can to help them.We believe , with the help of us, people in Sichuan will rebulid their homeland soon.

22. When an earthquake comes, what should we do to protect ourselves?

As we all know, the earthquake is a natural disaster, which can not be defended, and it may bring huge damage to us unless we are preparing enough for it, even this, also we can not resistant the earthquake. So what should we do when the earthquake is coming?Of course the first thing we think is to protect ourselves. But how can we do to protect ourselves? There are several means to do: first, get far away from the high building as soon as possible; second, go to a large place where does not have obvious earthquake; the third, we should keep touch with others for the rescue. But the most important thing protect ourselves is to predict the earthquake accurately.

23. Discuss the difference between college life and middle school life.

We have experienced both the college life and the middle school life, the differences between them are obvious. As for me, the differences are as following: first, you do not have someone to restrict you to study hard during the collage, you are free to do everything; the second, you can learn anything that you like and the knowledge you have learned is more specific, but in middle school, all the knowledge that we have to face is English, Math, and so on; the third, the life on campus is much colorful than the middle school life, you have much spare time to do whatever things except the study, 

24. Do you want to find a job you are interested in or a well-paid one? You’re free to talk about your future jobs. 

For my part, I prefer to a job I’m interested in. First, work is an important part of our life. In order to enjoy life, we should enjoy working first. If we get a high-paid job we are not interested in , definitely we can not enjoy working.  What’s more, salary in some degree depends on ability. Maybe you can receive handsome salary just after you get a well-paid job ,but with the passage of time, it will become low. In contrary, if we get a job we are interested in, we will gradually show the talent in it and then get a handsome income.

25. What’s your own way of spending two-day weekend? Anything special? You are welcome to name some advisable choices for our weekend.

When I was young, in other words when I was a university student , I spend most my two-day weekends in sleeping, playing online games . Nowadays ,I spend all my time in working , great civil engineering. My supervisor exploited me of nearly whole my life.   If  I have freedom to do whatever I like , I will prefer to spend my time in bar ,because in this way  I can enjoy  the modern civilization of city.  What’s more ,I will spend more time in learning English.

27. People often say we are now living in a small world. What’s your opinion?

The small-world phenomenon — the principle that most of us are linked by short chains of acquaintances — was first investigated as a question in sociology and is a feature of a range of networks arising in nature and technology. Experimental study of the phenomenon  revealed that it has two fundamental components: first, such short chains are ubiquitous, and second, individuals operating with purely local information are very adept at finding these chains. The first issue has been analysed, and here I investigate the second by modeling how individuals can find short chains in a large social network. We introduce the concept of efficiency of a network as a measure of how efficiently it exchanges information. By using this simple measure, small-world networks are seen as systems that are both globally and locally efficient. This gives a clear physical meaning to the concept of “small world,” and also a precise quantitative analysis of both weighted and unweighted networks. We study neural networks and man-made communication and transportation systems and we show that the underlying general principle of their construction is in fact a small-world principle of high efficiency.

28. What’s your advice to classmates and friends who spend too much time surfing the Net? 

In that case, I think I will take two steps, for one thing, I will do my best to persuade him to get rid of tempt of the net , as well as we all know, spending enormous time on the internet  is obviously bad for his health as well as for his study, for another, I will request him to go to classroom or do some sports with me, study or activity can divert his focus on the internet .well, the effect of surrounding environment is also pretty important ,it is also necessary for me to persuade other people who have the same habit like him to get rid of  the net .

29. It’s said that students who major in information technology are likely to get a good job. What’s your opinion? 

Somebody say students whose major is information technology engineering may find a job easily. In my opinion, every thing in the world has its own two sides. Without exception, information technology engineering has both advantages and disadvantages. If a student master the technology, he could get a job very easy. But if a student not good at it, he is also very hard to get a job. So all of student need to learn the basic concepts of their fields. Even if a student’s major is not very good, he can also find a good job if he can learn hard.

30. How’s the food in your school dining hall? 

I have stay in this school for five years. As you know, our students are the main customers of the university canteen. But unfortunately, we don't find the service there satisfying sometimes. The food is not as nutritious as it should be. As a result, some of us become thinner and weaker at university. Besides, sometimes the canteen people just bring us steamed bread with their dirty bare hands. And what's more, the fare is also a little higher at university. Some people may argue that measures have been taken and things are improving there. For instance, Ic cards have taken the place of money in the canteen, and the attitude of the service people is also changing. But in my opinion, progress is not so quick and thorough.　To be belief, though a bit dissatisfied with the present canteen conditions, I do believe that, with the efforts of all people concerned, we can solved the problems there.

31. What do you think of people’s living conditions in your hometown? 

With the rapid development of the modern pace, China has undergone tremendous changes, we hometown of rapidly improving living conditions, people no longer live in a low house, but live in a tall building. In the past years , great changes have been taken place in my hometown . It was a small town , it was very old and poor in the past . Life there was hard but difficult . In the past people plant crops with the help of farm animals, but now people use machines to farmland, and now the students do not have to study in a old school but study in a modern school. Today life in my hometown is very comfortable and easy , and you don 't need worry about going shopping or see a doctor . Children are now receiving an good education in large schools . A new theatre has been set down , where new plays are often put on . The town has taken on a new look . The living conditions has been improved greatly . The town is no longer which it used to be.

32. Why do some people prefer to live in the countryside? 

I prefer to live in the country. This is because the environment in the countryside is more clean and not polluted. There are more trees so that the air is more crisp in the early morning. The water without chemicals is not harmful to our health. I enjoy the scenery in the countryside and the peaceful life there. life in the countryside is closer to nature and better for our health，life there is quieter and that country people are more honest than city people. First, I prefare live a quite place. so country side is best place for living quite. Also I like to enjoy nature. in that case it is better to live in small town to enjoy natural beauty. on the other hand, it is difficult to get quite place in big city. second, I want to continue my life as a healthy person. in country side there is less pollution that the big city. In addition you can get fresh food and vegetables there. so to be healthy I like to live in country. In coclusion, I want to mention to keep good health , enjoy the nature and having good food .

33. The Relationship Between Discipline and Freedom

Freedom and discipline are two aspects of people's words and deeds. Freedom is the awareness and utilization of objective laws, discipline is the compliance of objective laws.

Neither is dispensable. Freedom can’t exist without discipline, for discipline is the protection of the freedom. If people’s behavior can’t be bounded, he can do whatever he likes. then, freedom can not be guaranteed. At the same time, we can not neglect the importance of freedom. If there are rules and regulations in every aspect, which is bound to suppress the student's personality, they dare not to say and to imagine. Their creativity and courage are damaged. It is not conducive to their full development. So they complement to each other as integrity.

34. What are the possible effects of playing computer games?

It has been a debating topic whether youth can play computer games. As to this matter,different people have different opinions.From my point of view,computer games have both advantages and disadvantages.First of all,much time will be spent in playing computer games rather than on our study or work if we become addicted to them.Secondly,lots of games that contain much voilent and unhealthy information may corrupt our ideas.Day by day,we may put into practice what we have seen in the games.This ,to a large extent,leads to a higher rate of drug abuse ,suicide and crime.In addition,once immersed in a virtual world of games,we are easy to get lost.We will lack the ability to communicate and feel less desired  to talk with anybody ,even with our parents. But each coin has two sides.So are computer games.living life on the go,we are easy to feel tired and depressed.So it is a good way to relax and keep up our enthusiasm to play computer games at an appropriate time.What’s more,playing computer games can always stimulate children ,making them more intelligent.In a word,computer games should not be held at bay as long as we don’t play them to excess.After all, they are reflections of human intelligence.

35. What do you think of online shopping?

Nowadays, with the rapid development of computer technology, shopping on the Internet is becoming a fashion, especially among young people. Shopping on the Internet has a lot of advantages. Of which the most important is perhaps its convenience. People don＇t have to waste a lot of their energy and precious time to go from one shop to another to choose the commodities they like. This is especially desirable to the old, the sick and the busy people who cannot go to the shops in person. The things they need to do is to sit in front of their computers and click the mouses. The commodities they order will be delivered to them promptly.Besides,goods sold on the internet are often cheaper than those in shops.What's more, lots of people love to pursue the fashion and then they choose on-line shopping.However, shopping on the Internet also has its disadvantages. The first disadvantage is that we cannot touch, smell, or taste what we want. And we don’t feel certain about our choice. The second disadvantage is that some shops on the Internet are not registered. They will never deliver anything to you after they get the money from you. In my opinion, shopping on the internet is a trend. More and more people will accept it. It will be more popular in the near future. And at the same time we should take some measures to make it perfect.
