   Last week we asked our students in Class 12, Grade 8 about their free time activities. Our questions were about exercise, use of the Internet and watching TV. Here are the results.

   Sixty percent of our students watch TV every day. Twenty-five percent watch TV twice a week. Fifteen percent watch TV four times a week. Although many students like to watch sports, game shows are the most popular.

   As for exercise, only ten percent of them play sports every day. Most of them exercise four times a week and some of them exercise only twice a week.

   It’s good to relax by using the Internet, but we were surprised that eighty percent of them use the Internet every day. Seventeen percent use it four times a week. Only three percent use the Internet twice a week.

Unit 5 谈论自己和好朋友对电影的看法：   I like comedies. I think watching comedies is a great way to relax. I don’t mind action movies because there’s too much fighting in them. I can’t stand scary movies because they’re terrible. I like cartoons because they’re funny. 

   My friend Jenny doesn’t like comedies. She thinks she can’t learn a lot from them. She loves action movies. She thinks they’re exciting. She can’t stand scary movies. She thinks they’re meaningless. She doesn’t mind cartoons. She thinks they’re only for kids.
