Step 1 Warming--up

Step 2 Presentation
1Show the 4 countries'flags in the card, and let students read them in English.
2Teacher make a dialogue with students like this :
T :“Where are you from ?”
S1: “I’m from ….”
3Review the animals they had learnt: monkey / lion / horse / zebra / panda…

Activity 1 Learn to say
1New words teaching : kangaroo / penguin
Teacher tell the students :“ There are many animals at the zoo. We have learned many animals, and show the card of kangaroo ( Use the same way to teaching penguin ) Then read and practices .
② Teaching bamboo / the South Pole
Teacher : “Where are the pandas from ?” “What’s their favorite food ?”
Then show the word – Bamboo ( Use the same way to teaching the South Pole )
③ Consolidation the new words ( game )
Activity 2 Text teaching
1Play to the tape , let students look at the pictures of the text. Try to get the meaning of the story . Teacher tell the meaning of the difficult sentences.
2Listen to the tape again , and repeat .

1Do the practice on Page 22 – Make a dialogue with partner
