Old Father Time Becomes a Terror

   The motorcar,though,promised unimaginable levels of personal mobility,traffic with seriously traffic in cities moves more slowly than it did in the days of the horse-drawn carriage.The aircraft promised new horizons,too.But the trouble is,it delivered them.Washing machines promised to free women from having to toil over the laundry.At the same time,they encouraged us to change our clothes daily instead of weekly,increasing seven times as much washing.

There is another aspect to all of this too.A decades have shown that,working hours have risen slightly in the U.K.,and in the U.S.,they have actually fallen.As we see,not everyone feels time streesed,there also is time gained,just were unevenly distributed.Singles and empty-nesters benefited the most,working couples with pre-school children gained the least.

Inequalities apart, the perception of the time famine is widespread,and has provoked a veriety of reaction.For example,people want fast food,sound bytes and instant gratification.Of course,people are also trying to buy time to help streamline our lives.

Another reaction to time famine has been the growth of the work-life debate.

In my opinion,we want to get away the time streeded,we must remember and do it as a saying that a more successful remedy may lie in understanding the problem rather than evading it.
