True friendship never dies

One of my friends sent me a short message, saying that true friends are one soul in two bodies, which moves me very much. it makes me think what true friendship is.

Nowadays, the word friendship has been used so frequently that it has lost its meaning. Some jokingly or seriously put it that friends are made to be taken advantage of, which makes me very sad. True friendship doesn’t mean that when you need your friend’s help, you will treat him to dinner, and when you have to protect yourself, you will put your friends in a difficult situation. On the contrary, true friendship is the communication of the hearts and understanding of the souls.

True friendship is like water, which is tasteless but is essential to our body. Compared with decent wine, water is insipid in taste, but is of great help to satisfy our thirsty. True friends don’t need to be with each other everyday, but are connected in heart every minute whatever the distance is.

True friendship is like medicine, though tasted bitter, killing your illness. True friends give you some proposals in point even if they know you would not take. They criticize you when others are praising you, not because of envy but worrying that you may lose your cool head. 

True friendship has nothing to do with fame, power, or possessions. True friends would often watch silently from afar when you are influential, but come to you whenever you need their help. They care not what you are, but who you are. You’re not his stepping-stone to success, but are his crutch to live through difficulties. When you are happy, you are likely to forget him, but when you are in trouble, he is the first one you will turn to for help.

True friends make you complete. Many persons company you through your life course, your parents, your lover, and your children, who take care of you and make your life happy. However, you still need someone who understands your thoughts and souls. Without them, you are likely to feel deserted in spirit and lost yourself. Lonely as you are, you are spiritually unhealthy.

True friends stay in your heart, rather than at your side; they know you more than yourself, and try to better you; they care you as much as themselves, but never let you know. They cherish you, for they know without you they are struggling alone in the desert. On your side, you will feel the same. Once you have found such a true friend, do treasure him. If your true friend disappears, how can you make the sound of your heart understood?

Every one of us, rich or poor, should at least have one or two good friends. My friends will listen to me when I want to speak, will wipe my eyes when I cry, will take care of me when I am sick, and my friends will go together with me side by side through this journey of life.

As students, we could share more time with our friends. The friendship in our young hearts is pure, fresh and simple. I often feel very lucky to have a lot of good friends. Especially when I had Justin as one of my best friends. Justin was my English teacher from the USA. I met him in 1996 when I was a student who could only speak very little English. Justin was a vivid young man with a bright smile on his face, and he always had his special way to make the class active and attractive. He taught us English by telling stories, playing games, singing songs, and even dancing.

I could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class, we went to some other classes to sing songs for them, just like what people do in the states on Christmas Eve. It was so interesting and unforgettable. Justin was an excellent teacher, because he taught us not only how to study English well, but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others lives. I know there was friendship and pure love in our hearts. Facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important, the real importance lay in faith, under-standing, and care. Justin is the best friend I have ever had, and I know I will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.

Friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives. It is actually like a bottle of wine, the longer it is kept, the sweeter it will be. It is also like a cup of tea. When we are thirsty, it will be our best choice, but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves, it is also the most fragrant drink.

However, in this fast-developing modern society, the reality is not that. More and more people forget to enjoy the beauty of life and -the beauty of friendship. They work hard in order to gain a higher position, in the society and to earn more money for their work. Of course, we dont deny that it is important to find a bet-ter place in our lives, but we wish more and more people could pay a little more attention to themselves and their friends. All of us have to spare some time for personal lives. We have to find the chance to express our emotion and love. When staying with our friends, we can release ourselves completely. We can do whatever we want, we can laugh together, talk together, and even cry to-gether. I should say that being together with our best friends is the most wonderful moment of our lives.

As we know, we would feel lonely if we didnt even have a friend. But it doesnt mean we could depend on our friends all the time. There is a famous motto saying that “A friend is like a quilt with cotton wadding, but the real thing that keeps you warm is your own temperature.” It is really true. We have to work hard together with our friends, encourage each other and help each other. When we receive love and friendship, we should repay as much as we can.

Finally, lets pray together now that one day, all of us could find the person we want to find, and could enjoy a real beautiful friendship in our lives. Lets pray the flower of friendship be-tween our friends and us would always bloom brightly in our hearts.

      What is friendship? In many people's eyes,when you are in trouble ,they willl always be there for you and give you a hand.they said friends will listen to us when we want to speak,will wipe our eyes when we cry, will take care of us when we are sick, and  will go together with us side by side through this long journey of life. 

      All of these views are  account for friendship is accompanied.  But I think that true friendship is the communication of the hearts and understanding of the souls.

      when I was in high school I used to have a so-called true friendship But it disappeared when we graduate,most of my friends have thei new friends in their new collage. So their daily life is focusing on the friends aound them. Our contacts becomes less and less.when I realize this,I found it seems There was a barrier between us .I just wonder if our friendship still remains Among us.

      Does distance become the gap between our friendship? No! that's not ture friendship! ture friendship wouldn't be changed by distance.True friends stay in your heart, rather than at your side；True friends don’t need to be with each other everyday, but are connected in heart every minute whatever the distance is.

     One of my friends who live in Shaghai sent me a short message" Don't be nevious! just take it easy! whatever you do,whatever the result is,you are always the best! "it moves me very much. She offers me the encouragement and makes me think what true friendship is.

     Let's pray together that all of us enjoyed our beautiful friendship ,the flower of friendship would bloom brightly in our hearts.

I hold that friendship is a necessity in life. Of course ,the majority of people will agree with me. What is friendship? Friendship is a kind of human relations. It is a human instinct to make friends. Friendship not only brings us a lot of happiness,but also reduces the sense of loneliness.,when we are happy,we can share our feelings with friends; when we achieve success ,we can also tell friends to share our joys.

But In terms of true friendship, true friends share not only joy ,but more often they share sorrow. when we are sad,true friends are good listeners who can give us suggestions to make us get rid of it,if we are in trouble, we can turn to true friends for help , friends will surround us and friends will offer us support and encouragement.

Nowadays, the word friendship has been used so frequently . Some jokingly or seriously put it that friends are made to be taken advantage of.So is this kinds of friendship true friendship? This kind of friendship is just for the sake of getting help from their friend. This is so called utilitarianism. True friendship has nothing to do with fame, power, or possessions.True friends are the people who are there for you unconditionally. They are the people who never question you and support you no matter what the circumstances are. 

True friendship is the communication of the hearts and understanding of the souls. 

For example ,the story of“High mountain and running water ”. Yu Boya.Yu boya  was a famous music master at that time, having super skills in playing the musical instrument. Zhong Ziqi was a woodcutter.But they had a resonance on music and their friensship has been everlasting . Although,their background was totally different, true friendship was developped between them.So true friendship can also overcome differences in background ,and break down barriers of age, class or race.

No matter how far the distance is ,ture friendship wouldn't be changed .True friends stay in your heart, rather than at your side；True friends don’t need to be with each other everyday, but are connected in heart every minute whatever the distance is.
