四级历年作文题目类型及要求

大错：

跑题：（给定的题目一定要用），所写内容一定要符合给定的题目，不但内容如此，给定的题目还需要多次出现，如给定的题目“recreational activities”,则文章中一定要反复出现，不能都用“video games”替换,偶尔个别处可以用“recreation ”或“entertainment”等同义词替换，但recreational activities一定要多多出现，避免文不对题之嫌。 

结构失衡（中间段应为重点），多数情形下，三段之中的文字比例为1：3：1。

不按照提纲写：一定要按照给定的提纲思路写作。

比如说：Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitled Recreational Activities, You should write at least 120 words following the outline given below:

1．娱乐活动多种多样

2．娱乐活动可以使人们收益，也可能带来危害

3．作为大学生，我认为….

那么，第二段应对娱乐活动的正面和反面效果都论及（正面给出2原因，反面给出2 原因）

如果看到的提纲是：

1．娱乐活动多种多样

2．娱乐活动可以使人们收益

3．作为大学生，我认为…

      则第二段只应提及娱乐活动有益的一面（这种只论述一方面的情形要给出3个原因比较合适），当然在第三段（作为大学生，我认为…）可以简单提及其无益的一面，表明其危害性，倡导合理处理学习和娱乐活动。但无论如何，第二段应为main body,要用较多笔墨。

差字数：文章虽然规定不少于120字，但最好写到150字左右。

应用文格式不对：大家一定要看清题目要求，“essay”为一般议论文或记叙文,多为“三段式”；如果是应用文的话则有标志性的词语，如“announcement”(口头通知) ”speech”,” letter” “notice”（书面通知），都有其各自固定格式。详细说明见后面。

连续错误：

大小写（句号后，第一个单词的首字母应为大写）

注意：etc=and so on ,

举例时，可以用下面的结构：

2 points （基本没有一句正确的话，字数不足，且拼写错误多）

14 points （基本无明显错误，且有亮点：with,　ing,　ed, 定语从句，it形式主语，倒装，the more…the more等）

　Nowadays, there are a variety of recreational activities for people to take part in.（a variety of用得好）Some like singing and dancing, while the others are fond of watching movies or TV series. (应为：Some like singing and dancing, others are fond of watching movies or TV series.值得表扬的是： like , be fond of的交替使用避免了重复，加分) People are free to choose whatever recreational activities they like. 

　　It is obvious that recreational activities are relaxing and people can benefit from them. （it形式主语，加分点：it is adj that，it is adj for sb to do sth）Furthermore, people can develop interest and make friends through those activities, which make their life colorful. （which,定语从句加分点）However, recreational activities can also do harm to them. It is commonly seen that a youngster gets addicted to a certain recreational activity and wastes a lot of time and money in, resulting in his falling behind in his study or work. （it形式主语，加分点：it is seen that; resulting in, ing表结果，加分）

As a college student, I think we must try not to break the balance between study and leisure. (比较别扭：As a college student, I think we should spare no efforts to strike/keep the balance between study and recreational activities). Recreational activities are a necessary part of our life but we shouldn’t spend too much time on them. We should concentrate on our study instead of indulging ourselves with recreational activities. (instead of , indulge 用得好，但最好用indulging ourselves in recreational activities)

一．  常考题材

四级考试作文一般不会考查涉及知识面过广或专业性太强的题材，从历年真题来看，四级作文具有很强的现实性，主要涉及两类内容：

一类是关于大学生的学习、校园生活及对将来的工作、人生等方面的态度和看法，如200７年12月的作文题是关于大学选课。

另一类是贴近社会变化、发展和进步的热点话题，往往与日常生活紧密相关，如2006年12月的作文主题是关于春节晚会（On the Spring Festival Gala），2008年6月的作文主题是关于娱乐活动。

二． 常考体裁

四级作文常涉及的体裁主要有三类：议论文、应用文、记叙文；近几年，议论文比重明显增加，成为热点。

需注意，这几种体裁可以互相涉及。如：记叙文也不是纯粹的叙事，往往需加入议论成分。而应用文中也需要使用议论文式的思维方式，如：

　Welcome to Our Club

　1．本社团的主要活动内容

　2．参加本社团的好处

　3．如何加入本社团

　这次考题中，分析社团带来的好处为主体，则可以用到议论文中常见的“利弊分析”思路加以分析。

因此，考生要根据实际情况运用不同的写作手法。

三． 出题方式

1． 提纲式文字命题

最常见的出题方式。给出英文题目及提纲，大多情况是中文提纲，有时也会出现英文提纲。

每段的提纲规定了各段的主旨，要求考生围绕这个中心制订主题句，再顺着主题句展开段落，最后对主题句进行总结回应。

提醒大家：一定要看清说明再动笔，上面的提示中，essay表明文章为议论文，而非应用文。

2．图表命题

图表作文是四级考试另一类常考作文类型，也是考生觉得较难对付的作文形式。图表作文一般在题目中给出一个或几个统计表格、柱状图或饼状结构图等，通常还给出作文的标题和一些提示，要求考生用文字描述图表，客观解释图表中所传递的信息并找出某种规律或趋势，并针对图表中所反映出的现象或问题分析其原因或后果。

提醒大家：本质就是加了一个图表说明的议论文章，详情见后面。

３．谚语类题目

提醒大家：本质就是加了谚语导入的议论文章，详情见后面。

下面，我们按照题材接合真题给大家讲讲作文中的注意要点：

一．记叙文

1．回忆过去的事件注意时态用过去时；

2．记叙文习作虽然规律较少，难度大，但要根据“最大限度”原则把提前准备的例子用出来。

记叙文一般采用事情发展的顺序进行写作，要做到文字优美，逻辑清楚并非易事，但如果我们提前准备一些例子，则可以较为完满的完成任务。比如说在提前操练过上面这篇2003年6月的真题之后，如果你又遭遇到2003.09下面的真题，又该如何对待呢？

The Day My Classmate Fell Ill/ Got Injured

1．简单叙述一下这位同学生病/受伤的情形；

尽管这两次的题目有一定差别，但是我们是不是可以用手中储备的资源进行应对呢，似乎可以这样写：

     I have all the qualities that the position requires. For one thing, I’m a competent leader. Over the past 2 years, I have been working as the monitor of my class. My job has always been widely recognized and praised by my classmates and teachers. For another, as far as my character is concerned, I’m very cooperative and easy-going, ready to accept different opinions and advice from others. Last but not least, I enjoy a variety of hobbies, such as playing football and playing the piano.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen,

     Welcome to Shanghai, China. To begin with, I’d like to introduce my self. I am Li Lei, from Shanghai Travel Agency. It gives much pleasure to be your guide.

     The schedule for today is as follows: first, at 8:00 a.m., we’ll set out from Yinhe Hotel for Shanghai Middle School. We’ll have lunch at a nice restaurant near the school. After that, we will spend our time with some students from the school.

     Located at the downtown area of Shanghai, Shanghai Middle School is one of the most famous schools in Shanghai. It is famous not only for its academic reputation but also for its beautiful campus. During your visit, you will enjoy a great view of green trees and blooming flowers. You will also have the chance to have a closer look at the real life of the Chinese middle school students and teachers.

An Eye-witness Account of a Traffic Accident

It was the morning of April 6th, 2003. At about 7:30, I went to school by bike as usual. It was a rainy day and the road was very slippery. On the way to school, I noticed a boy riding in front of me, talking loudly with his friends. He didn’t wear a raincoat; instead he held an umbrella in one hand, and rode with another hand. As he turned left to Guangming Road, he failed to see a car running towards him. Suddenly I heard a screaming cry. The boy was knocked down by the car. I was completely shocked.

I think the boy’s absent-mindedness was responsible for the accident. He was talking and riding carelessly all the time. The weather also played a role in the tragedy. All these contributed to this accident. From the accident, I’ve learned that we should be safety-conscious all the time, especially when we are walking or riding on streets.
