Milly sees an apple on the tree. She wants to eat it,but the tree is tall.Ella comes. She shakes the tree. The apple falls down.Some leaves fall down too.Milly eats the apple.She likes it.Ella eats the leaves.

Fox and cock 

One morning a fox sees a cock. He think, "This is my breakfast." He comes up to the cock and says, "I know you can sing very well. Can you sing for me?" he cock is glad. He closes his eyes and begins to sing .The fox sees that and caches him in his mouth and carries him away. The people in the field see the fox. They cry, "Look,look!The fox is carrying the cock away." The cock says to the  

fox,"Mr Fox,do you understand?The people say you are carrying their cock away.Tell them it is yours.Not theirs.'' 

The fox opens his mouth and says,"The cock is mine,not yours.''Just then the cock runs away from the fox and flies in to the tree.

    在田地里的人们看到了狐狸。大喊大叫：“看，看！狐狸抓住公鸡逃走了。”公鸡对狐狸说：“狐狸先生，你能理解么？人们认为你叼走了公鸡。告诉他们这是你的，不是他们的。” 

    狐狸张开她的嘴说：“公鸡是我的，不是你们的。”就在那时，公鸡跑到了树底下。

     外甥女要参加英语故事演讲，要我帮忙。搜集，整理三个幽默的小故事。也存档一下，希望儿子能在英语上也能有所成就。

Good morning\\afternoon, everyone. My name is.... My English name is .... I'm glad to be here today.Now I tell you a funny story.(故事)  Thank you for listening.

1.         You are talking through your hat

 The teacher said: “Short waves cannot pass around objects. Long waves can.” The class did not understand. The teacher put his hat in front of his face.

“Can you see my face?”

“No”

“Can you hear my voice?”

“Yes”

“what does that prove(证明)？”

“You are talking through your hat”

2.         which is farther away?

 Teacher:  Which is farther away, New York City or the moon?

 Tom:    New York City, of course.

 Teacher: Why do you say that?

 Tom:    I can see the moon, but I can’t see New York City.

3. How do you make that out?

 Teacher: Tell me, my little friend, how much do five and one make?

( No answer.)

Teacher: If(如果) I give you five rabbits and then another rabbit, how much rabbits will you have?

Tom:  Seven.

Teacher: Seven! How do you make that out?

Tom: I have one rabbit at home already.(已经)

My room

  Open the door,oh,the room is very beautiful!Whose room is this?It’s my room.

  The bed is near the window.a quilt and a doll is on the bed.What color is my bed?It’s my favourite color—purple.It’s very dreamily color.the dresser is next to the bed.There are some books and a pen on the dresser.

  I like watching TV.The TV is before the bed.I an lie to watch TV on the bed.I have a piano.The piano is near the TV set.Sometimes,I play the piano.And the computer is near the window.I often play the piano.

  This is my room.Do you like my room?What about your room?

Dear teachers and classmates:

Good afternoon, I am very nice to make a speech here! This time, I'd like to talk something about English. 

As everyone knows.  English language is very important today. It is now used everywhere in the world. 

I love English. When I was eight, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children . I also often read English following the tapes and watch English cartoons at home. By talking with English people, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world. It makes me confident and brings me great pleasure. 

I hope I can travel around the world someday and introduce China to them in English, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and so on. Of course, I want to go to London , because England is where English language developed. 

I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well. 

If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.
