   Step 1   Organization

   Greet the class and introduce what to learn in this period.

   Step 2   Warming up

   Step 3   Presentation

1.Activity 1a.Look at the picture on page 1 and write the activities.

Answers:

Repeat to read the sentences.

2.Activity 1b.Display a large calendar that shows the days of the week.Learn the new words.

Show the new words on the screen and read them to the class.

Play the recording and students do it.

Step 4  Practice

Work with a partner.Make own conversations about the people in the picture.

Step 5  Listening(2a and 2b)

1.Introduce some new words:twice,once,time,Internet,surf the Internet,program.

2.Make sure that students understand the listening tasks.

Then play the recording.

Go through the sentences.Explain the grammar points.

Step 8  Consolidation and Homework

This period we’ve learnt some adverbs of frequency:every day,once a week, twice a week, three times a week, once a month, twice a month.And we learnt to talk about how often people do things.

Homework:keep a diary and remember to exercise every day.It can help you to stay healthy.
