成都大运会英语演讲稿

hello everybody! i’m jimmy from shenzhn meihua primary school.

it’s the happy things to me that the universiade will be held in chengdu. as a small resident of chengdu, i am very pleased and excited. i think that this is not only the honor of chengdu city, it’s also the pride of all chengdu residents!

some times ago, i often ask myself： as an ordinary primary student, what kind of meaningful things should i do for the universiade? with the help from my teachers and parents, i got the right answer at last.

for our children, first, we should use our spare time to concern about the universiade report through tv, newspaper or internet, to use of this rare opportunity to learn more about universiade history and the basic knowledge of sports. secondly, to overcome the bad habits,to speak civilized words, to do civilized things and to be a civilized person.

i think as long as every one of us to contribute a little for the holding of the universiade, from the side of each piece of little things, chengdu will win the praise of athletes and the world.
