
Good morning Ladies and gentlemen:
It`s my great honor to be share my teaching plan with you. The topic of my lesson is ___, taken from section__ of unit__.
My teaching plan is divided into five parts.
Part 1 teaching ideas
According to the constructional aims in english learning in middle school,I will focus on developing the Ss` comprehensive abilities,including reading ,writing ,speaking and listening.
Part 1 Analysis of the teaching material and students.
Analysis of teaching material
介绍内容和作用
E.g. 内容:Lesson 33 Saving the Earth is a dialogue. The lesson is focused on the topic of the problems of the earth and the functional items of Supposition/ Intentions/ conjecture/ Prohibition.
作用:Since it is a dialogue / reading. It’s helpful to improve the Ss communicative/ reading ability.
According to this, my teaching goals are as follows:
1) Knowledge aims: master and remember the new word and phrases such as:
master the sentence patterns such as:
Help them to understand the dialogue better
2) Ability aims:
1.Develop their ability of thinking independently.
2.Cultivate their ability to discover, analyze and solve problems.
3.Train them to collect information from the Internet.
4. Train them with some effective learning methods to optimize Ss’ learning results.
3) Moral aims:
a. Arouse their interest in learning English;
b. Enable the students to love our earth and the nature.
c. Be aware of the importance of stopping pollution & protecting out environment.
d. Encourage the Ss to do something to save the earth.
Among the teaching aims, the important points are : (生词、句型;培养阅读技能)
and difficult points are: (语法;发展交际能力)
a. functional item: Supposition.
b. Develop their communicative ability. Act out their own dialogue.
Analysis of students:
E.g. They are students from key middle school students, so they are thirst for English knowledge, but they lack relevant vocabulary. Therefore, it is important to .......
Analysis of teaching aids:(multi-media computer system, tape-recorder,blackboard)
It can make the input visible and comprehensible and also make teaching lively and interesting. It’s of great help to increase the class density and improve our teaching result. It can also make the Ss reach a better understanding of the text by making the classes lively and interesting.
Part 3Teaching and learning methods:
Teaching method: task-based teaching method; communicative method; audio-video; situational language teaching.
I will use ... teaching method, because it is in correspondence with New Syllabus Design, as it can stimulate Ss’ initiative in learning and develop their ability in language application.
Learning method:the learning methods are cooperative and inquiry-based learning.

Part 4 teaching procedures .
I’ll use 4 steps to finish.
Step1 before reading, about 5 min
导入:pictures; brainstorming; music; video clip;prediction
I will show some pictures of Singapore`s cities and let the Ss work in groups to guess and talk about their favourite one and say why. And then I will show the Ss some reading strategies.
* What can you think of when you see “pollution” this word?(waste, environment, air, water, factory, desert, climate... Try to activate the Ss schemata regarding the topic of pollution.)
*Attract their attention, arouse their interest, and create a good atmosphere for communication, develop their ability in thinking independently.
By doing this, I could arise the Ss` interests and naturally lead to the lesson.
Step2 while-reading, about 10 minutes
Three tasks will be completed
Task 1, fast reading
I`ll show some questions by CAI on the screen :

I`ll let the Ss read the article as quickly as they can and answer the questions
Doing this could help the Ss to master the general idea of the passage.
Task 2 detailed reading
I`ll let the Ss listen to the tape read the passage again, then each paragraph will be given different question such as: at first paragraph I will give ss a question for T or F ;the second paragraph give a question for selection. Let ss read carefully again and find out the answer and in paragraph 3 I `ll make a chart and let the Ss fill in the chart with correct answers.
It`s necessary to find out the main sentence of each paragraph by themselves.
It`s helpful for the Ss to repeat the passage.
Through this task, students can have a deeper understanding of the text, improve reading ability-skimming and scanning.
* 阅读: Pre-reading; while-reading; post-reading (fast reading/ careful reading; skim/ scan; 识别关键词key words;确定主题句;创设信息差information gap;T or F; 填表格chart/diagram; Predicting; Make a timeline; Make a story map。达到对课文的整体理解和掌握。So that they can have a good understanding of the whole text.)
Step3 After reading, about 15 minutes (Retell; discussion; role play)
In this step, 3 tasks will be completed.
Task 1 knowledge learning (Language focus)
First, I`ll let Ss find out their difficult words, phrases of the article. After this, I`ll let the Ss discuss in groups and solve the problems by themselves. If the Ss can`t solve them,I`ll give them help.In order to let the Ss understand and consolidate the knowledge, I will speak C and let Ss find out E in the article.
Task 2 practice and retell, I`ll give them some exercises to practice the knowledge points and then I `ll let the Ss to retell each paragraph in the key words shown on the screen and let someone to repeat the article in front of the class.
Doing this could let the Ss understand the article in details and be helpful to have an exam.
Task 3 Discussion
I will give a topic ___ and let ss discuss in groups (or let the Ss to have a debate on the topic ) to extend their thinking, then let them work in groups to summarize what they learned.
Then, write the article on the notebook.
It can allow the Ss to talk about more information,and it also foster a sense of cooperation.
Step 4 summery and homework, about 3 min
In order to cultivate abilities of summery and thinking, I`ll let Ss summarize the text by themselves.
At the end of the class, in order to consolidate the contents, I`ll give Ss homework like this:

Part 5 blackboard design
The title of the passage will be shown on the top and middle of the backboard. And I will write the key words on the right of the blackboard.
I try to make my BB design helpful and clear for Ss
