
LTE中支持两种形式的CQI,PMI和RI上报:周期性的和非周期性的上报。周期性的CQI上报通常是通过PUCCH来进行的。如果UE在发送周期性CQI的子帧上,同时被调度有数据需要发送,那么,周期性的CQI上报将通过PUSCH来进行。此时,UE将在PUSCH中采用和PUCCH中同样的CQI/PMI/RI格式,而相应的PUCCH上的CQI上报资源将会闲置不用【1】。
eNodeB还可以触发UE进行非周期性的上报。非周期性的上报是通过PUSCH来进行的。这些上报可以在PUSCH上单独地或者和其他数据一起进行发送。
在周期性CQI上报和非周期性CQI上报子帧同时存在的子帧,UE将会只上报非周期性的CQI上报而丢弃周期性的上报。
CQI上报的粒度有三个等级:宽带,UE选择的子带和上层配置的子带。
宽带CQI上报是指UE针对整个系统带宽上报一个CQI。(整个系统带宽反馈一个CQI)CQI的取值如下图所示:

上层配置的子带上报是指针对整个系统带宽,UE上报一个宽带CQI。除此之外,UE还对每个子带上报一个CQI。在上层配置的子带上报中,每个子带的带宽为K个连续的物理资源块,K的取值大小与系统的带宽有关。子带的数目为 ,覆盖了整个系统的带宽。其中 N 为下行的物理资源块的数目。最后一个子带的资源块数目可能小于K。

LTE中的CQI上报,还与UE的传输模式有关。LTE中,定义了八种不同的传输模式,对应相应的多天线技术。不同的传输模式下,上报的CQI中包含不同的内容。

首先,对于非周期的上报。
UE如果在子帧N中,接收到DCI格式0,或者是RAR反馈,其中CQI Request的位设置为1并且未被预留,那么UE会在相应的上行子帧,反馈相应的CQI。
LTE中规定,UE需要支持如下几种不同模式的CQI非周期上报机制。

RRC信令中的参数cqi-ReportModeAperiodic定义了配置给UE所使用的上报模式。在UE选择的子带上报的模式中,UE在大小为K的子带中,选择M个适合(应该是最好)的子带,计算其CQI的平均值,将其上报给eNodeB。其中K和M的大小与系统的带宽有关,如下表所示:

在周期性上报的情况下,不支持上层配置的子带CQI上报。对于UE选择的子带上报,与非周期性上报的情况也有所不同。
在周期性的上报中,全部N个子带被分成J个子带组,其中子带的大小K(单位是RB)和子带组的数目J与系统的带宽有关,如下表所示。
