Last Tuesday, our class invited an old craftsman to teach us how to make dough figurines.

When the craftsman came into the classroom, we gave him a warm welcome and two boys helped him with the tool box. First, he showed us the basic steps and skills of making dough figurines. We stood around him and watched attentively. Then we started to have a try ourselves. The old man walked around and helped us patiently. Finally, we put the figurines we made on the table and took pictures with the old craftsman. Looking at the figurines, we were all very excited.

9-11分 漏点，不能清晰地表达要点。语言单调 错误太多影响理解。

6-8分 句子不是句子，也就几个正确句子切所表达内容不贴切。 

1-5分 只是重点或相关词语的叠加，没有正确的句子

Cheers and applause rose in the classroom. With his fingers moving slowly, a vivid character was born in front of us. He placed a stick onto it and used tools to make it lively.

With our mouth opening widely, we couldn’t believe in  our eyes.

With simple tools, he magically shaped a piece of dough into a vivid figurine which seemed alive.

The lively and cute animal appealed to me so much that we can’t wait to make our own …

If we hadn’t seen it with our eyes, I couldn’t have believed that a piece of dough could be shaped into a vivid dough figurine. 

A wave of respect mixed with a bit of excitement surged into our heart 

Amazed by his brilliant work, …..

When confronted with difficulties , he encouraged us to keep practicing.

Seeing the dough figurines made by ourselves, every corner of my heart was filled with happiness. 

 A sense of achievement flooded over my heart.

Our feverish hunger for a show was soon met. He shaped a dough into a vivid cartoon characters skillfully.

We were all in high spirits, playing…. And making it into our favorite characters. 

We wrapped up the  activity reluctantly with a photo-taking, holding our hand-made dough figurine. 

We were curious  about the big tool box held by two of my classmates…

Last week, a craftsman came to our class to spread traditional culture, which left me a deep impression

Last week, I spent a day with a craftsman. To be honest, it was one of my best experiences I never had before. 

Last week, we’re honored to invite a well-known craftsman to teach us how to make a dough figurine, leaving a deep impression on me. 

As is known to all, making a dough figurine is an ancient traditional Chinese art. Nevertheless, it was not until my last experience did I have a better understanding of Chinese culture. 

It’s universally acknowledged that our traditional culture is marvelous. Many a time, I experienced an unforgettable time, but a day with the craftsman must be one which I will cherish for good.

Not only did we learn to shape dough into different cartoon characters, but we can also appreciate the beauty of Chinese traditional dough arts. Besides that, we do hope traditional dough figurine would be passed on generation after generation. 

It can not only expand our knowledge about traditional Chinese dough culture, but we can also improve our awareness of protecting…….

Tired as we were/tired but happy, we were proud of what we made because we did something meaningful to protect our traditional Chinese art. 

I think “traditional culture into school”  can make us know and learn about our culture/ take pride in our culture. These educational memories on it will never fade away. 

It gave us a chance to get closer to our traditional culture.

By getting involved in this activity, I not only learned how to make a dough figurine, but I also had a deep understanding of our traditional culture. 

This Tuesday is one that will live in my mind forever. Had it not been for this special day, I wouldn’t have realized how dazzling our traditional culture is. It’s definitely our duty to introduce it to the world. 

It’s such a great pleasure for me to get immersed in the traditional …… my memory on it would never fade. 

Being patient in doing different things is the key to succeed in ……

His love and devotion to his art work influenced us a lot.

Only in this way could we protect our marvelous traditional culture. 

His love for the traditional Chinese  culture had a great effect on us.

Last week, a craftsman came to our class to spread traditional culture, which left me a deep impression

The moment the artist stepped into the classroom, we all stood up and gave him a warm welcome. The artist was also delighted to see us. All of us were looking forward to the rest of the day and two of my classmate were carrying his big tool box which contained the materials he could use. 

Then we gathered around him, seeing him pick up a piece of dough in his left hand and some usual tools in his right hand. Before long, a  dough figurine appeared vividly in front of us. I was amazed to see this while other students were excited and surprised. Later, we are happy to be told that we could have a try to make a dough figurine. Having picked up a piece of dough in medium size. I  planned to make a horse. During the process, the craftsman gave us some suggestions and tips, so that I could make it easier and better. After a hard time, I made a horse which seemed alive and  a sense of achievement rose in my heart. 

Figurine in hand, broad smile across face, we took a photo to freeze the wonderful moment. By getting involved in this activity, I not only learned how to make a dough figurine, but I also had a deep understanding of our traditional culture. （240词）

Last Tuesday, our class invited an old craftsman to teach us how to make dough figurines.

The moment he went into our class, we began to clap our hands and gave him a warm welcome. The craftsman expressed his greetings to us. Seeing two of my classmates carrying a big tool box, we all were curious about  what was inside it. 

When he opened the box, there were only pieces of dough. However the craftsman began to work on it with simple scissors and comes. After a while, we were surprised that a vivid dough figurine came into our eyes. 

Then came the most exciting part. The craftsman gave each of us a piece of dough so that we could make our own dough figurines. Thanks to the instructions of the patient craftsman, we all could finish our work at the end of class. 

Holding our dough figurines with the craftsman standing in the middle of us, we had a photo taken to memorize the happy moment we spent together. 

We do hope we can have more activities of this kind! Only in this way could we protect our marvelous traditional culture. （192词）
