Should Students Study Abroad?

With more and more people becoming rich in recent years, it is popular for them to send their children to study abroad. 

On the one hand, many people think studying abroad can bring them a better future. On the other hand, it is a good way for the students to broaden(开阔) their eyes.

But I don’t think it is a good idea. First of all, children are too young to look after themselves. Second, the language barrier(语言障碍) is a serious problem. Many children are not fluent in the foreign language before going abroad. As a result, they have difficulty in understanding what the native (当地的) speakers are talking about. 

In conclusion, there are more disadvantages in sending children to study abroad. So, we’d better not do it.

My View on Advertisements(广告)

Nowadays, advertisements can be seen in many media(媒体), such as newspapers, TV and the Internet.

Of course, advertisements have advantages. First, via the advertisements, we can know various(各种各样的) information of goods, services, cultures and so on. Second, with advertisements, customers can save a lot of time in shopping.

However, every coin has two sides. Advertisements also have some disadvantages. Firstly, they are a waste of time when we don’t need them, for example, when we are watching TV programs. What’s more, some advertisements are misleading(误导)and cheating. They are harmful to teenagers.

Therefore, good advertisements are really good for us in our daily life. But unhealthy ones are harmful to the society. We should weigh the advantages and disadvantages of advertisements and make good use of(好好利用) them.
