4.不定式或现在分词充当评注性状语。例如：

  To make matters worse,his Chinese is not good enough to communicate with us properly.

  更糟的是，...

  Our English teacher is popular with us all,to be sure. 无可否认，...

  Johnson,judging from what I observed,is honest and reliable.据我观察，...

  类似的还有：to be frank坦白地说；to tell you the truth说实话；to sum up总的来说；generally   speaking一般说来,considering his living condition 考虑到他的住房条件，等等。

5.有些形容词：strange,funny,curious,odd,important,surprising,remarkable等作状语时，表示的      是评注性说明，是说话者的某种看法，前面可加more或most,可转换为It is...that句型。例如：

 Strange,he is ignorant of it.很奇怪，那件事他竟然一点也不知道。

 Funny,he pretends to know what he does not know.好笑，他不懂装懂。

 Surprising,she got a first in the competition.令人吃惊的是，他竟在比赛中得了第一名。

 More remarkable,he has made a breakthrough in his research. 更值得注意的是，他的研究获得了突破。

 True,he has done his best.老实说，他已经尽了最大努力。

6.副词充当评注性状语。

表示话语可靠性的程度：probably,apparently,evidently,obviously,plainly,possibly等。例如：Obviously,he was tired of his daily work.显然，...  Apparently,he knew the town well.显然，...

表示确定性的评注性状语：certainly,surely,undoubtedly,definitely,clearly等。例如：

 Surely/Undoubtedly/Clearly,he is more intelligent than his brother.肯定地说，...

表示惊讶，迷惘，失望，安慰，谅解好，遗憾等感情的评注性状语：amazingly,astonishingly,

surprisingly,disappointingly,annoyingly,understandably,regrettably,strangely,curiously等。例如：

Curiously/Surprisingly,they seemed to know each other already.奇怪的是，...

Understandably,no one is willing to stay in the room all the time.可以理解，...

Regrettably,he broke his word.很遗憾，...

表示悲伤，高兴，希望，感谢，幸运等感情的评注性状语：sadly,happily,thankfully,hopefully,

Unhappily,fortunately,luckily,unfortunately,unluckily等。例如：

Hopefully,the two sides may come to an agreement on this issue in time.如果顺利的话，

Thankfully,everyone passed the terminal exam. 谢天谢地，

表示正确，错误，聪明，愚蠢等意义的评注性状语：rightly,correctly,cleverly,wisely,wrongly，

foolishly,unwisely,unreasonably,unjustly等。例如：

Not unreasonably,he refused his offer at once.      ...,那是不无道理的。

Wisely,we returned our books in time.     .....这点很聪明。

表示寻常，罕见等意义的评注性状语：rarely,traditionally,unusually等。例如：

Rarely,he should admit defeat without any reason.   ...,很难得啊。

Traditionally,he is at home cooking for his wife and daughter.按照惯例，...
