四．读写任务范文：part 2 

（一）茂名一模：谈“幸福”

    I am happy now because my parents love me and I have a lot of good friends. We always share our feelings with each other and they will help me whenever I am in trouble.

   The happiest thing was the speech contest that I attended last year. Our school decided to hold a Chinese speech contest and I took part in it on behalf of my class. I practiced speaking very hard and my excellent speech made a good impression on the teachers and students. As a result, I won the first place and my teachers thought highly of me. My classmates all congratulated me on my success. I was very excited and happy that day because I not only improved my speeking skills but also won respect form others. 

    I think that happiness means doing what you want to do. If you can do what you want to do and you enjoy what you are doing, you will surely be happy. 

（二）茂名二模：谈“持之以恒”

    After I read this passage, I was deeply moved and admired the author for his determination and persistence. The author lost weight successfully and lived a happy life because he was so determined and persistent. His story tells us that nothing is impossible to a willing heart.

The passage reminds me of a similar experience. When I was 16 year old, I began to show great interest in English songs. I listened to the MP3 and practiced singing English songs every day. At first I found it difficult to improve my singing skills. What was more, I was laughed at by some classmates because they didn’t think that I could sing well. But I did not give up and I turned to my English teacher for help. Gradually I improved my singing skills. One year later, I took part in an English singing contest and won the second place. I was so happy. 

I think that we should not give up easily. I believe that as long as we persist in our goals and work hard, we will succeed eventually.

（三）2012广东卷：谈“老师对学生的影响”

    This passage reminds me of Mr Li, my English teacher in middle school. He not only taught me how to learn English well but also encouraged me to be a confident student.

    I used to have great difficulty in learning English. I wanted to learn it well but I never passed English exams. It was Mr Li who taught me patiently after class and showed me how to memorize new words and use them. At first I was so frustrated that I wanted to give up. Then Mr Li talked to me face to face and convinced me that I could succeed in the end if I studied hard and persisted. It was with Mr Li’s help that I made progress in English little by little. 

    I think that teachers have a great influence on both students’ study and life. Therefore, teachers should try to improve students’ study and encourage them to be confident, brave and determined people.
