英语写作失败是一件坏事么

Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a composition I no less than 100 words on the topic: Is Failure a Bad Thing? You should base your composition on the following outline (given in Chinese).

1.失败是常有的事；

2.人们对失败有各种不同的态度；

3.我对失败的态度。

Is Failure a Bad Thing?

Nothing seems to be more common than failure in our lives. If we don’t work hard and try our best, we will meet failure; some times even when we have already exerted ourselves, we can still not escape the fate of failure. It is safe to say that every one of us has experienced failure. It is just something inevitable.

Attitudes towards failure vary from person to person. Some hate failure and lose heart when their fail, as if it were the end of world. Some others are able to take a detached attitude towards failure. They believe that failure is as instructive as victory and if only they don’t give up and learn something from the defeat, they will succeed in the end.

In my opinion, failure as well as success is one part of our life. We strive for success, but we should learn to live with failure. We should understand that failure is not completely a bad thing. Just as the saying goes,“It is mother of success.”
