个： I watched it, too. The thinking of looking up to men and down on women is popular in China, especially in rural areas. A woman live in such a family, she can’t get equal material and love from her childhood, even may be bullied by his brother. She may have Psychological problems when she is growing.

屠： Gege also think every family should have a man to continue the family line. This incorrect cultural concept will mislead more and more men to be the male chauvinism. In the ancient, female who didn’t marry have to listen to her father. Female who married have to follow her husband. Even if husband died, the wife have to lean on her son. Gender should be equal. The stereotype of strong man with a weak woman should be rectified.

君： I have heard this TV series which have a lot of things of workplace. And two years after we graduate, we also need to apply for a job. Now a lot of work only recruit men, this kind of explicit request has the suspicion of discrimination sex.

邵： I want to say some about sex discrimination when we're looking for a job. Most of the teachers are women. It is generally believed that male teachers will not be as careful and patient as female teachers. Especially in primary and secondary schools, many parents are not assured male teachers to educate their children. Moreover, many men do not consider to be a teacher, they think this job is belong to the female.

个： That just likes house-husband, people think they are the men who depend on their wife to live, but housewife is seen as normal. People all think man is fit to do the jobs which need IQ or Physical strength. Woman is fit to do the jobs which need patience. But now new woman is more and more clever. As a girl, we should learn skills, get rid of the negative impact of Chinese culture of gender roles.

屠： You are right. Speak of school, teachers always said that girls were better at learning than boys when they are in primary school. But when it comes to junior high school will gradually surpass girls. There is also a statement that boys are better at math, girls are better at English. I think no matter it is girls or boys should not be trapped in the mindset.
