Honesty is the best policy

In our daily life, when referring to which is the best policy, different people have different views. Some people hold the view that confidence is the best policy while the rest believe that courage is the best policy. But as far as I am concerned, I think that honesty is the best policy.

I have two major reasons to support my view. For one thing, honesty plays an important role in our daily life. It is not only the best policy, but a principle of dealing with affairs. Take the friendship for example, if you are honest to your friends, they will be honesty to you in return. When you are sad, they will comfort you; when you are in trouble, they will help you. However, if you are a dishonest man, your friend will leave you alone sooner or later and you will be looked down upon by them and be regarded as a public enemy. With the development of our society, the role that honesty play become more and more important especially in business area. For instance, if you are a manager of an international company, you should be honest to others all the time. On the contrary, if you are dishonest to one of your partner, not only the partnership you will lose forever, but the other partners will be also away. So the principle of conducting yourself is very important on managing a company. In short, honesty is very important in our daily life. For another, honesty is an absolute essential for the good and happy living of life. For a couple, mutual honesty can make their love become more and more honey and their life more and more harmonious. For brothers and sisters, mutual honesty can provide them with solid relationship and so on. So we can see that honesty is the basis of a good and happy living of life.

Therefore, we can draw a conclusion that honesty plays an important role in our daily life and honesty is an absolute essential for the good and happy living of life. In a word, honesty is the best policy.
