| I.Introduction to the course 1.The contents of the book: There are ten topics included in this book which are the most popular topics in business. 2.The learning goal of the course: 1)Understand the basic information of each topic 2)Master the useful expressions about each topic 3)Improve speaking and listening skills 3.Test Test 1: listening Test 2: speaking II.New Lesson Job Interview Part 1 Warm-up Ss work in pairs. They will get some Do’s and Don’ts during a job interview. They should tick the Do’s in the box. Teacher gives Ss two minutes to finish this job, then appoints several students to give the answers. Teacher makes some explanation according to the answers. Part 2 Listening Practice Task 1 Ss listen to a dialogue about a job interview and try to fill in the missing words. The recording is played twice. Teacher checks the answers with students and explains some difficult points, such as: major, past experience, chief responsibility. Task 2 Ss work in pairs to match the questions with the corresponding answers. Teacher checks the answers and explain some difficult points,such as be based in, life insurance, depend on , etc. Part III Language Focus A In this part, Ss will learn lots of useful expressions about job interview including opening, during: general questions. Ss will read the sentences first. Teacher will explain some difficult points. Follow-up Practice Ss will hear part of an interview dialogue about interests and personality. They need to choose the correct questions. After finishing, T checks the answers. III.Conclusion In this class, students have learnt how to do during a job interview and some useful expressions used in a job interview. Their disadvantage is still the listening. IV.Homework 1.Work in pairs to make a dialogue about job interview by using the expressions they have learnt today.
