It is Sunday, and as it is Tree Planting Day, our class was notified to participate in tree planting activities at the riverbank last week. waking up early, I eagerly awaited the event. Miss Li, our teacher, led us to the designated location. Each of my classmates carried young saplings, while I took a bucket to assist in the planting process.
Upon arrival, we set to work planting trees. As spring is the optimal time for tree planting, the conditions were ideal. Miss Li demonstrated the technique by digging a hole, carefully placing a sapling inside, and then covering it with soil. I thenwater ed the plant meticulously to ensure it would thrive. We repeated this method several times, and though I became hungry and tired, I experienced a sense of fulfillment and joy.
