序数词基数词

序数词是指表示顺序的数词，如：first、second、third、fourth等，缩写为1st、2nd、3rd、4th等；基数词是指用来描述事物数量多少的数词，如：one、two、there、four、five、six、seven、eight、nine、ten等。

1、序数词：

（1）序数词是指表示顺序的数词，主要应用于英语语法中，在汉语中是表示为第几。如果是在生日中，描述你出生的日期时，也会用到序数词。比如：May-first （5月1日）。

（2）序数词也可以用缩写形式来表示。主要缩写形式有：first1st、second2nd、third3rd、fourth4th、sixth6th、twentieth20th、twenty-third23rd等。

（3）序数词在句中可作主语、宾语、定语和表语。

例如：

作宾语She likes the second.

作定语Her room is on the fourth floor.

2、基数词：

（1）是用来描述事物数量的多少的数词。什么是基数，在数学上的理解是可以比较大小的数字，而英语中的基数词是用于来描述事物数量的多少。

（2）写法为one、two、three、four、five、six、seven、nine、ten、eleven、twelve、thirteen、fourteen、fifteen等。

（3）基数词在句中可作主语、宾语、定语、表语、同位语。

例如：

作主语Thetwohappilyopenedthebox.

做宾语Ineedthreealtogether.

作定语Fourstudentsareplayingvolleyballoutside.

作表语Wearesixteen.

作同位语Theythreetriedtofinishthetaskbeforesunset.
