Teaching Procedures:
A. Phonetics
Step 1. Ask students to read the words in activity 1 on page 10, and make corrections when necessary.
Step 2. Explain/ɪd/、/ d/ 、 /t/, and ask students to read the words loudly after the teacher.
Step 3. Play games.
Step 4. Oral practice --- Tongue twisters
Step 5. Complete exercises in exercise book.
B. Grammar
Step 1. Show some exclamations on the screen and then ask students to find the regularity.
Step 2. Ask students to complete the conversations in activity 3 on page 11.
Step 3. Role-play.
Step 4. Detailed explanation
Step 5. Complete exercises on page 8-9 in exercise book.
C. Vocabulary.
Step 1. Read the words in the compass.
Step 2. Complete the paragraph with the words from the box.

Teaching Procedures:
A. Phonetics
Step 1. Ask students to read the words in activity 1 on page 10, and make corrections when necessary.
Step 2. Explain /ɪd/、/ d/ 、 /t/, and ask students to read the words loudly after the teacher.
Step 3. Play games.
Teacher divides the whole class into four groups, then show words on the screen and ask them to tell which word is different from the other three ones. The group that gets the highest score will get a gift.
Step 4. Oral practice --- Tongue twisters
Ask students to read tongue twisters one by one, which is very interesting but
not easy to read fluently and correctly. For example:
Peter Piper:Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, How many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick? But if Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, Were they pickled when he picked them from the vine? Or was Peter Piper pickled when he picked the pickled peppers. Peppers picked from the pickled pepper vine?
