As the graph shows, there was an upward trend in sales. In January, sales rose steadily .In February, sales leveled off(变得平稳) ，before they increased again gradually .There was a sudden fall in April, then a dramatic increase to a peak of 20 000 in May.

Focusing our attention on the wheat production it can be seen from the graph that the output rose steadily over the period. A general upward trend from 0, 9 millions of tones in 1990 to 2, 3 millions of tones in 2000 is clearly recognizable.
