教学目标
1.Knowledge aims:
① Get Ss familiar with the English names of four well-known Chinese folk stories. They are Journey to the West, Yu Gong Moves a Mountain, Nu Wa Repairs the Sky.
② Enable Ss to understand people talking about the story called Yu Gong Moves a mountain in English.
③ Show Ss how to use the past tense to tell a story.
2.Ability aims:
① Develop Ss’ listening abilities of grasping the key information by focusing on wh- questions, like:
How does the story start? What happened next?
Where would they put all the earth and stone from the mountains?
② encourage Ss to use their own words to tell the story in English with the help of key words and pictures.
3.Moral aims:
Keep Ss' interest in English and increase their confidence in using English to solve the problems.
