3.  Cuihu Park is not far from here. It’s easy to get there. Just go straight and turn right at the first corner. Walk along the road and turn left when you find a hospital.  Cuihu Park is down the street on your right. Across from the park is a restaurant.The park is really a good place to have fun. It’s beautiful and cool with many trees and flowers. You can swim, play or have a picnic there. It’s very relaxing. I hope you will enjoy yourselves.

4.    Li Fang was my first friend. She was born in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province. She was born on June 2nd, 1999. The name of her first school was Yuying Primary School. Mrs Gao was her first English teacher. At that time, she was very friendly and well- behaved.  All the classmates liked her very much.

5.     Jimmy was born in Paris , the capital of France. He was born on April 10th, 2000. He is living in Beijing now. He is my friend, and he often tells me something about his past life in Paris. Jimmy was a good student when he was in Paris. He studied very hard and he could get good marks. His teachers  was kind to him. He loved his teachers and classmates very much. 

Zhou Jielun is a famous singer. His English name is Jay Zhou. He was born in 1979 in a small town in Taiwan. When he was young, he was naughty but nice. His first teacher was his mother. His mother was very strict (with him). His first friend was Fang Wenshan. His fist school was Zhongxiao Primary School. 

I like him very much. 

6.   Tom will arrive in Beijing on Thursday. Then he will visit his Chinese friends there. The next day, Tom will go to the Great Wall. Tom thinks it must be very great. On Saturday and Sunday, he will go to Tian’anmen Square and the Palace Museum.  Also, Tom will go shopping on Sunday. He will  leave Beijing next Monday. Tom thinks he will have fun in Beijing.

8.               My May Day holiday plan

May Day is coming soon. We will have a 3-day holiday. I am going to stay at home on Monday morning. I am going to get up early and do my homework. On Monday afternoon, I am going to go for a walk and have a picnic with my friends. On Tuesday, I am going to visit Beijing and go sightseeing.  I am going to( go to) Tian’anmen Square, the Great Wall and the Palace Museum. On Wednesday, I am going to go shopping and visit my uncle. Then I am going to leave Beijing. I hope I will have a great holiday.

9.  Long long ago in China, there was a young man  called Yang Shi. One day she went to visit his teacher Cheng Yi. It was snowing heavily. Cheng Yi was sleeping then, so Yang Shi waited in the snow until his teacher woke up. Then they found that the ground was already covered with thick snow!

We should learn from Yang Shi and respect our teachers. A good education makes a country strong.

10.    Saturday, June 16                       Sunny

Today my friends and I went to the Sand Lake. When we arrived at nine, we first took a boat to visit the Birds Island. We saw lots of beautiful birds there. Then we came to the other side of the lake. We rode horses and played football for about one hour. After that, we went swimming in the lake. It was cool and comfortable. At about twelve o’clock, we had a simple lunch by the lake. When lunch was over, we sang songs and played games. We started to go back at half past three. We had a wonderful time.

11.                       The life of  Lu Xun

Lu Xun is a famous writer. He wrote a lot of works. Two of his most famous novels are A Madman’s Diary and Kong Yiji.

He was born in 1881 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. In 1902, he studied in Japan and decided to be a doctor. He married in 1906. He wrote his first novel in 1918.

He died in 1936.  Now we can still see his novels in Chinese and in many other languages.  He is famous around the world.

12 . Dear Peter,

Did you have a good time last weekend? I did. On Saturday morning, I didn’t go out to play. I did my homework at home. I visited my grandparents in the afternoon. On Sunday morning, I went to the park with my friends Lingling, Jack, Lily and Lucy. We had a great time there. In the evening, I went to the birthday party of a good friend. We sang and danced and we were all happy at the party.
