英语口语对话 my best friend

A:Hi, Yijia, you must have many friends for you are such an out-going girl.

B:Yeah, I have many friends, but I only have two besties. One is in Shanghai and the other one is in HK. 

A:When do you know each other?

B:We grew up together and have a long friendship for about 10 years. Even we are not in the same place, our friendship is solid just like before.

A:Wow. You must be very happy.

B:You are right. Would you like to tell me something about your best friend?

A:Yes, of course. I have one best friend. She is a considerate girl and always keep me company when I’m in trouble. This Christmas, she gave me a scarf knitted by herself as a gift, which really made me deeply moved. She warmed my heart with love and sweetness. By the way, can you tell me what your friends impressed you most.

B:Lived far away from each other, we never lose touch with each other. Whenever I have difficulties, they will phone me to comfort and encourage me. What’s more, they would send me some small presents to make me happy. It’s their sincere love that moved me most.

A:Sounds wonderful. But have you ever argued with each other?

B:Yes, it was when we are at senior high school, we had different views of a question. We had a intense debate and my words really hurt her. Fortunately, we soon made up and our friendship become even solid since then. What about you ?

A: She and I often quarreled when we were young children. Sometimes, we argued which actor was more handsome. And just because of our different opinions, we did not talk to each other for several days. But now we hardly have a quarrel. Maybe we grow up and learn to cherish our friendship.  I really hope our friendship will last forever.

B: I think so. Tomorrow is New Year. Are you free? Let’s go out for eating. 

A : It is really a good idea. I’ll wait for you at the school gate at 11:00 tomorrow.

B:OK. See you tomorrow.
