一、教学目标
(一)知识目标
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词hamburger, sandwich, chicken Coke, fish, chicken, beef等。
2.句型:能听懂、会说What would you like? I’d like a hamburger, please.
(二)能力目标
1.能初步运用所学句型询问他人及表达个人的需求。
2.能运用所学词汇表达个人对食物的喜好。
(三)情感目标
1.培养学生英语学习的乐趣和热情,做到在“在用中学,在学中用”。
2.进一步培养学生不挑食、不厌食、吃健康食品的意识。
二、教学重难点
1. 重点:1).掌握有关食品的词汇。
2).掌握句型What would you like? I’d like a/some…
2. 难点:I would like a.../some...的理解和运用。
三、教材分析
本课以饮食为主线,重点学习食品饮料类单词和词组,并能在适当的情景中谈论自己或者他人喜欢的食物和饮品,并懂得保持健康的饮食习惯。教学时可让学生通过玩游戏与完成各种任务型活动来感知与巩固新的知识点,帮助学生对新旧知识重新架构。
四、学情分析
1. 本单元的教学对象为小学五年级,具有一定的词汇基础与英语交际能力。学生对于自己喜欢的食物是非常感兴趣的,三四年级已经学过部分饮食类单词,如egg,cake,noodle,milk,water及“What do you like? I like...”等句型。因此学生具有一定的表达基础,对进一步学习是具有期待与兴趣的,在激活旧知的基础上,必须运用各种教学手段激起并保持学生兴趣,调动积极性,尤其要多给多鼓励羞于表达的学生机会,帮助获得成功的喜悦与自信。
2.由于本单元内容与学生的日常生活联系密切,教学时,要根据小学高年级阶段学生的特点,引导他们在学习英语的过程中最大限发挥自主学习能力,积极主动地学习英语。

Greetings
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls.

Step2. Presentation and drill
(一) Lead in
T: Look! What’s this? Where is it? (教师出示卡片并问)
Ss: It’s a restaurant.
T: Yes, it’s a restaurant, and this is my restaurant. Welcome to my restaurant. What’s in my restaurant, do you want to know? Let’s go and see it.
(二) Learn new words
1.依次出示食物图片,通过纠音、带读、拼读等方式学习并操练食物单词:hamburger, sandwich, chicken Coke, fish, chicken, beef。
2. Play a game: Challenge your eyes, read the words as quickly as you can.
(三) Learn new sentences
1. T: There are so many kinds of food in my restaurant. They are delicious.What would you like, hamburger, sandwich or Coke?
引导学生回答:
S1: I’d like a…
S2: I’d like a…
S3: I’d like a…
T: What would you like, beef, chicken or fish?
S1: I’d like some…
S2: I’d like some…
S3: I’d like some…
总结T: So when we want something, we can say” I’d like a/some…
And we can ask like this: What would you like?
2. Pair work: work in pairs, ask and answer: What would you like? I’d like a/some…
(四) Learn the dialogue
1. T: Lingling and Anne are hungry now, so they come to my restaurant. What did they buy? What would they like? Let’s listen to the tape and then answer these questions:
1). What would Lingling like?
2). What would Anne like?
3). How much is the food?
2. Listen again and check the answers.
3. Listen and repeat.
4. Role-play it.
Step3. Consolidation
Group work
要求:四人一组,其中一人扮演餐厅里的服务员,另外三人扮演顾客到餐厅购买食物,用以下句型:
A: Can I help you?
B: I’d like a hamburger, please. How much is it?
A: It’s 10 yuan.
B: Here you are.
A: Thank you. Here’s your food.
B: Thank you.
(5分钟后分组上台表演)
