1.04 SUBMITTALS

A. Samples: submit six (6) each, 300mm x 300mm and (20) 50mm x 50mm samples demonstrating finish to be supplied (finish per contract).

B. Shop Drawings: Submit shop drawings delineating all details required for fabrication and installation. Shop drawings to indicate the necessary blocking and attachment to the building or framing as required to support and secure the GFRC material and any material attached to GFRC. Framing details and structural support of framing is the responsibility of the GFRC manufacturer/installer, and it is to be engineered and sealed by contractor/subcontractor, and noted accordingly in the material supply contract and shop drawings.

1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. All GFRC parts shall match approved samples.
A. 所有GFRC产品必须与通过的样板相符。B. All GFRC parts and additional framing required due to non-structural walls (e.g. brick or others) will be Installable according to details submitted in shop drawings. All support and framing systems must be engineered by an engineer able to place his seal for the structure and design of all GFRC panels and installation systems as he sees them acceptable and certified fit for purpose.

A. All materials shall be protected during fabrication, shipment, site storage and erection to prevent damage to the finished work from other trades. Store materials inside a well-ventilated area, away from uncured concrete and masonry, and protected from weather moisture, soiling, abrasion, and extreme temperatures.

A. GFRC will be fabricated with a proprietary blend of cementitious minerals, aggregates, polymers and glass fibers to achieve a typical range of physical properties shown in Section 2.03 and all PCI standards whichever is greater.

2.03 表面处理
A. Surface Texture/ Exposed side: Smooth or as indicated on drawing.

B. Finish: Smooth surface or to match approved color and texture. Parts determined to be painted must be clean, primed and ready to finish prior to the application of an acceptable paint system.

Please note that non- integral colored parts or non-conforming colors/textures must be paint finished or replaced at the discretion on FORM. If the entire system of integral color is not acceptable by FORM after the installation an acceptable finish must be applied by the installer/manufacturer at no additional cost to FORM.

2.07 ANCHORS AND FASTENERS

A. The installer is to provide anchors and fasteners and other accessories required for proper installation of fabrications as recommended and approved by the composite fabricator and the project architect/ designer; however, the necessary blocking and attachment to the building or framing as required to support and secure the GFRC material, as well as any framing details and structural support of framing, is the responsibility of the GFRC manufacturer/installer, and it is to be engineered by contractor/ subcontractor, and noted accordingly with an appropriate engineers seal that all GFRC systems/ materials/framing/fasteners/rigging and installation systems are fit for purpose and noted on the shop drawings.

F. Do not proceed with installation until discrepancies are corrected, or until installation requirements are modified and approved by the contractor and architect.

Clarification: Regarding the use of Paint Systems on GRC GRC材料表面喷涂说明
It is the responsibility of the Manufacturer/Installer to produce the GRC to FORMs standards regarding formulation, specification and quality control standards. (Manufacturers must produce all GRC parts and pieces to match the approved color and texture samples)
生产\安装方负责按照孚姆公司制定的配方、规格和质量控制标准生产GRC材料,且GRC构件必须符合业主批准的样板,包括颜色及纹理。
The color and texture of the GRC must be produced in accordance to the approved samples of color and texture. The performance of the GRC surfaces must allow future painting of the GRC installed parts and systems if in the future we require the GRC to be painted. All materials used in the GRC be compatible with future paint systems to allow painting if FORM requires the application of paint.
GRC材料的颜色及纹理必须按照审核通过的样板颜色及纹理进行生产。GRC构件将来安装后可能需要喷涂,因而GRC表面处理必须满足喷涂要求。GRC所含配料必须与喷涂系统兼容,允许将来进行喷涂。
Specifically all caulking must be color matched with the GRC and must be approved by ower’s prior to application. Sealers and all materials used in the GRC must perform alone and allow the GRC to perform without paint for the full extent of the warranty period. (co-ordination of materials must be unified and it is the responsibility of the manufacturer/ installer to ensure that all materials used are unified between their own teams and teams from other contractors to ensure all materials work together and are fit for purpose with or without paint)
填缝胶的颜色必须与GRC一致,且施工前必须通过业主的批准。GRC内含的密封剂及所有配料必须能发挥各自功效,并且不影响GRC材料在没有喷涂的裸用情况下也能使用到保质期满。(无论将来是否对GRC表面进行喷涂,承包商(包括生产方/安装方)必须确保自己的所有施工队伍使用相同的材料,并确保自己与其他承包单位材料统一)。

1. All bolt holes in FRP parts where bolt diameter exceeds the thickness of the bolted FRP material shall provide a friction-type fit for bolts.

Surface “Sealers” that are applied to GRC must fulfill the following requirements- First the sealer must be UV stable and compatible with painting systems if in the future GRC materials require painting. The sealer must be consistent on all GRC and the manufacturing GRC companies must use the same sealer systems (It is the responsibility of the GRC manufactures/installers to communicate their preferences with each other, decide on what sealer/paint system that will be used on all GRC. (Note: sealer must be compatible with all paint & caulking systems. All paints & caulking must perform together or separate. All caulking must be tinted on acceptable color and also must be able to have paint stick to it without issue.) Blend the matching appropriated patch material with adjacent surfaces so the blends with adjacent material are invisible.

GRP的涂漆及涂层方法
Remove all non-water & water soluble contaminates with solvent compatible with material. If required remove water soluble contaminates with water & mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and let dry completely before painting. Repair any imperfections in surface with exterior grade fillers. Sand-scuff and “give tooth” to all GRP surfaces. Use clean cotton rags to remove the contaminates requiring solvent washing and/or water washing. (Note: Rags must be clean and free from all contaminates. Rags can be washed /dried and re-used.)
Do not use dirty rags. The rags must be in sufficient supply to always allow the use of a clean fresh, dry one.
