| 教学环节设计 | Warming up | I. Give the students time to look at the picture at the first page of Unit 10. And discuss the following questions: 1. Where are they? 2. What are they doing? 3. What festival does the picture suggest? II. Then show the students a picture of the busy street. Listen to the recorder and match the pictures with the expressions in the box. (SB, p128) III. Ask the students some questions: 1. Which of the above activities do you like? 2. What do you often do in your spare time? 3. What do you often do in your holidays? IV. Then ask them to listen to a dialogue and do exercise 4 at page 128. | |||||||||||||
| Presentation of Listening | I. Tell the students they are going to listen to a dialogue happened between Bill and Susan. Look at what’s their plan for tonight. Before listening the first time, teach students how to use the words and expressions in the box:  fancy, theatre, be on, be sold out,  wonderful… II. Ask the students to listen to the dialogue again and finish the exercise of exercise 4 at page 129. III. Ask the students to listen again and finish the exercise 3 at page 129. IV. Ask them to read the dialogue in pairs and act it out. | ||||||||||||||
| Listening Practice | I. Help the students learn the new words and expressions by reading aloud after the recorder. II. Ask them to read a short conversation, which has several missing words. III. Ask the students to listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks using the given words in the box (SB, p130) while listening. IV.
