With the quick development of scientific technology, mobile phones become more and more popular and play a very important role in our daily life. However, everything has two sides. As far as I am concerned, Mobile phones have both advantages and disadvantages.

As a communication device, mobile phones have lots of advantages and benefit us a lot. First of all, mobile phones bring us a lot of convenience. We can use them to keep in touch with our families, our friends and our classmates wherever we are. In addition, mobile phones have more and more functions which can help us do a lot of things. For example, we can use them to listen to music, play games and search for information online. At last, the mobile phone is also a good way to avoid the danger or suddenness. If someone has a heart attack or a traffic accident, a call to emergency hospital or to the police can quickly bring him the help he wants.  

Although mobile phones have many advantages, they have disadvantage as well. As we know, too much using of the mobile phone will make us suffer from electric wave radiation which is thought to be harmful to user’s brains. Moreover, for students, they may spend too much time in playing with their mobile phones and don’t pay much attention to their study. 

To sum up, the mobile phone is a double-edged sword. In my opinion, we shouldn't spend too much time on it and don't let it disturb us from our studies. We should make good use of it and avoid the negative effects.
