What is education for

When we talk about why we receive education, we may consist in a variety of reasons, such as, fostering ways of critical thinking, forming a habit of learning, enhancing charisma or finding a good job. Today I want to say something about finding a good job with high education.

Just as what I said just now, in my opinion, education is for finding a good job. But why did I say so? Here are some reasons why I said finding a good job is the most important reasons of education.

Firstly, in recent years, it is not easy to find a good job, meanwhile, education background is a very important factor for us to find a job. As a result of that, sufficient knowledge is essential for someone to find a good job, in other words, we receive education is for hunting a good job.

Then, many colleges and universities enlarge the number of students. So the normal degree of people in our nation, even in all over of the world is promoting. Therefore, we need receive a higher education than several years ago so as to getting the same job as several years ago.

Third, in our Chinese idiom, knowledge can change destiny. Children come from poor families especially from small villages. Only from getting high education, can these poor children change their destiny.

Finally, when we are in primary school, high school or in university, what we learn is just the knowledge and abilities which we need in practical working.

To sum up, finding a good job is the most important reason why we receive education. Enough knowledge and high ability which are needed in working get from high education.
