1. Knowledge objectives:

   Understand the main idea of the passage 

2. Ability objectives: 

(1) Students can classify different kinds of errors in Proof- reading and correcting

(2) Master the basic skills of Proof-reading and correcting by practicing

Train students to discover errors and solve them

（1）How to do Proof-reading and correcting

（2) How to identify the kinds of errors

Inductive and Deductive method

◆Step1:  Leading-in(3minutes)

(1)make some simply incorrect sentences and let students find them.    （3minutes）

I is a hard- working man.

He want to be a policeman in the future.

 Dr. Smith was written the report at this time yesterday.

  He likes apple.

 Step2: Read the passage and get the main idea .（ 2minutes）

Step 3: Read the passage sentence by sentence and find out the mistakes. Generally, there is one error per sentence.（6 minutes）Step4:  students exchange idea with each other.(2 minutes) 

Step5 : (3 minutes)

        1.名词前是否缺冠词，可数名词是否用复数

        2. 动词时态，语态，主谓是否一致

        3.形容词是否要变为副词。形容词，副词是否用比较级，最高级

        4.固定搭配运用是否正确

        5.从句中关系词是否正确

        6.句子中并列连词，从属连词运用是否正确

        7.句子结构是否完整。

Step6: Let students correct the errors again and read the passage. Summarize the errors in this passage.(4minutes)
