法律相关的英文词汇备忘

先来看一下有关商业法律的，有哪几大类法律法规：

-commercial law商事法

'We abide by the international and commercial laws of the foreign country when handling exports.'

“在做出口生意时，我们谨遵出口某境外国家时相关的国际法律条例跟商事法规。”

-contract law  合同法

'Disputes with contracts are resolved under the contract law.'

“关乎合同订立的所有纠纷可以在合同法相关法规下得到解决。”

-labor law 劳动法

'Labor law governs legal relationships between employers and employees.'

“劳动法规范了有关雇主/用人单位跟其员工间的法定关系管理。”

-copyright law 著作权法

-legal dispute 法律纠纷

'We don't want a legal dispute.'

“我们不希望有法律纠纷。”

-party 正行法律协商的某一方

'Our party is willing to negotiate.'

“我方愿意与你们协商。”

-contract 合同

a. to be under a contract  有合同签订的商事活动

'We work under a contract.'

“我们工作内容是有合同签订的。”

b. to contract with  跟某人/公司有合同签订

'We contracted this project with the company.'

“我们跟该公司签订了合同，承包该项目的。”

c. in default of the contract/in breach of the contract  背离了合同约定

'We've paid up front, we're not in default of the contract.'

“我们把钱款都当面缴清了，我们没违反合约规定。”

d. contractual dispute  合同相关纠纷

'The two companies are involved in a contractual dispute.'

-piracy 侵犯版权

b. copyright  版权

'This invention is copyrighted.'

-lawsuit/litigation  诉讼

a. file/bring a lawsuit or litigation  提起诉讼

'He's bringing/filing a lawsuit against us.'

“他将我们告上了法庭。”

b. drop a lawsuit or litigation  撤消诉讼

'He has agreed to drop all litigation.'

“他同意撤掉所有诉讼请求。”

-action  提起诉讼之权力

'We've decided to take legal action to protect our rights.'

-injunction  禁止令

'The court has ordered an injunction against such practices.'
