一.教学目标
1. 语言知识
目的在于学生能够理解并掌握以下重点词汇及句型:ignorance, belittle, disparage, inflict on, concentrate on, spend some time on sth以及从句的学习。
2. 语言技能
能够帮助学生通过练习预测的相关表达来进一步提高他们的口语表达能力。学会在听力中抓住key words及topic sentences来完成练习。
3. 学习策略
学会通过对话来更好地运用所学的新知识点,主动用英语交流并能分析一些复杂的句子。
4. 情感目标
通过学习本课,学生将更多地关注自己的言行,善于吸取一些好的意见和建议。
5. 文化意识
使学生可以明白不同国家的人对未来现在过去的不同的观点,和自己作比较可以反思总结一些useful things.

1. 学生在听第一遍文章的时候可能会普遍感觉做题较难。

1. 多放几遍,最好有难点的地方加以分析,提示重点词汇。
五.教学过程
Step I .Pre-Listening【8mins】
1.首先听下“回到从前”这首歌,讨论“如果给你一次机会回到过去你最想去做什么?为什么?”﹝whole class work with 5mins﹞
2.听完文章的题目“Things I wish I’d known when was younger”,猜测一下作者在接下来的这篇文章里会谈写什么样的内容?请说说各自的观点。﹝3mins﹞
Step II. While-Listening【25mins】
1. 听录音回答问题。 Part 1:
It seems that life in the future is full of secrets and myths. But today we are lucky that a girl Lucy is writing a letter to tell us about her life in the future. Do you want to know about it?
Ss: Yes…
T: Let’s come to listening, part 1. While listening, pay more attention to the time, the place, the things and the reason.
1. Play the tape for one time.
2. Check the answers.
Part2:
T: you did a wonderful job. But how is her life different from our life? Let’s come to part2, before listening, look through the form and predict the answers.
1.Play the tape for twice.
2.Check the answers.
3.Remind ss of paying attention to the right forms of words.
Life in the future is really mysterious. And things will change. But if we learn to accept changes and appreciate what’s new and different, we will be well-prepared for the future life.
2.听一段精简后的录音.
(1)根据自己所听到的内容回忆并并完成下面的画圈练习,根据录音圈出下表中的生词。
(2)听一段话,根据这段话填空,将其中的空词补上,相当于完形填空,听第二遍校对答案,逐句进行。
3.听完第三遍录音后尽量去复述录音的内容,注意用自己的语言进行组织。
Step III. Post-Listening【10mins】

Step IV. Homework【2mins】
1.准备好听写这个单元的新单词,时间为下堂课。(individual work)
2.每位同学准备好一篇有关回到未来简短的发言稿,在下次课听写完后来说说你对未来的预见,注意句子语法的问题。
