Dear Peter,

How are you doing recently? Learning that you are keen to learn about our football team, I’m delighted to drop you a line about it.

Our football team consists of 26 excellent members in total, who were selected from about 200 applicants. Under the guidance of our experienced coaches, Mr. Ma and Mr. Hu, we practice about one hour every morning and another two hours in the afternoon. Just as the saying goes, “No pain, no gain.” With our joint efforts, we won the championship in the football match held by our city last month.

I sincerely hope that we can meet each other in the near future and play football together cheerfully.

Hello, everyone!

I feel honored to be here to talk to you on exercise. We students are heavily burdened with school work, and thus spare little time for regular physical exercise.

However, we all need a sound body. So I suggest we fit exercise into our busy schedule, making it part of our daily routine. Put down our books to stretch our arms from time to time. Do some jogging and jumping every day. If we are able to make exercising our life habit, we will surely benefit from it both physically and mentally.

Protect Golden Monkeys!

The golden monkey is critically endangered, and there are only a thousand of them in the wild. 

Due to human overexploitation, their habitat is gradually changed into farmland or cities. They are threatened by human activity. Their natural habitat is being destroyed by farming, mining, and logging.

The government has established nature reserves and we should let them survive in their natural state with as little human intervention as possible. You can help by spreading the word about their plight and supporting charities that work to protect them.
