Learning to Forgive Others

I will always remember what happened to me this morning. When I got up this morning, I found my mother didn’t make breakfast for me because she got up late. So I had to go to school without breakfast. And when I was going to put on my school uniform, I found my mother forgot to wash it. It made me unhappy. Later, I knew my mother didn’t sleep well at night because of her headache. I felt sorry for her. What’s more, when I went to school by bike, I knocked down an old man. I thought he would be hard on me, but he said, “Never mind. Be careful next time!” I was deeply moved.

From these two things I know we should learn to understand each other. Society is like a big family. As long as everyone gives a little love the world will become much more beautiful.

During my middle school study, I have taken part in many contests, but I never forget an English speech contest.

When the teacher told us there was an English speech contest, I didn’t think much of it There were many excellent students in our class. Besides me, several students put up their hands to show their interest in the contest. Luckily, the English teacher asked me to take it. I was worried about it very much. I was eager to get it, but I was afraid to fail. With the help of my English teacher and ore than a week’s hard work, I won first prize in our school.

After that, I worked harder. I think I can succeed if I try my best to do everything. Where there is a will, there is a way. Do you think so?
