一、Man have sometimes spent their whole lives searching for it .At certain times in the few centuries they left home in their hundreds  in  the hope that they might find  it  .In the last 500 years ,they have actually found about 700,000 tons of it .

We go to great lengths to dig it up out of  the  ground  ,very few countries are lucky enough  to have any at all in their  own  land .Those countries that don’t have any to dig up themselves pay large sums of money to buy relatively small quantities of it from the luckier one. When they get it home ,they promptly put most of it  under ground again .in specially built room,making things as difficult as they possible can for anyone else to get at it .

It fact , Not much if it sees the light of day at all .Some can be seen in museums , lovely worked into beautiful objects by craftsmen of long ago .You might catch a glimpse of small amounts when certain people open their mouths wide enough. Tiny pieces might also be seen on hands ,round necks and on ears ,if the owners of the hands ,neck and ears can afford it .

二、It was raining.Iwent into a café and asked for a coffee.  While   I was waiting for my drink. I realized there were other people in the place, but I sensed   loneliness   .I saw their bodies , but I couldn’t feel their souls because  their souls belonged to the  Net   .

   I stood up and walked between the tables .When I came to the biggest computer ,I saw a thin ,small man   sitting  in front of  it .“I’m Steve ,”he finally answered after I asked him a couple of times what his name was .“I can’t talk with you .I’m  busy  ,”he said .He was chatting online and , at the same time ,he was playing a computer game –a war game .I was  surprised .
