
Now we are approaching the Pagoda Square. Being one of the biggest squares in Asia, the Pagoda Square, or the North Square, possesses the biggest music fountain in the world, and is surrounded by architectural imitations of Tang Dynasty (618—907AD).The North Square is solely a cultural featuring in Tang style in China. It is 218 metres long from east to west, and 3 metres wide from south to north. The North Square is composed of central water landscape, gardens, commercial constructions in Tang style, as well as pedestrian streets. The total construction area is about 110,000 ㎡. Since its opening to the outside, it has rapidly become a new resort for recreation, amusement, and shopping. It enjoys great popularity and is integrated with remarkable commercial potential.

Tang Paradise
Tang Paradise is the largest tourist program in northwest China. It covers n area of 1,000 mu (about 165 acres) and is established with an investment of 1.2 billion yuan. Located to the north of the original Tang Dynasty Lotus Garden site, the present Tang Paradise is the first theme park fully demonstrating the charm and grandeur of the royal garden in Tang Dynasty. The Tang Paradise boasts many new records: the largest movie on water screen in the world, the first theme park of five senses (sight, sound, taste, touch and smell) (五感主题公园), the biggest outdoor fragrance project (室外芳香工程) in the world ad the biggest reproduction of the Tang royal garden complex in China. Ever since its opening to public on April 11, 2005, Tang Paradise has attracted people from different walks of life with its surprising charm, including some prominent political figures like Lian Zhan, Chairman of Kuomingtang from Taiwan.
