需要食材和烹饪工具:鸡蛋,馅儿,盐,胡椒,其他调料,小碗,打蛋器,不粘底煎锅,黄油,不粘锅喷雾油,小铲
Step 1
Crack the eggs into a bowl. Use egg whites for a cholesterol-free omelet. Add salt, pepper and any other desired seasonings.
Step 2
Whisk the eggs until they're light and thoroughly blended.
Step 3
Preheat a 6 or 7-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Melt butter in the pan or spray the pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 4
Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet. Allow the eggs to cook over medium heat for two to three minutes or until the edges start to become slightly dry.
Step 5
Make a small slit in the middle of the omelet with a spatula or spoon. Allow the uncooked portion of the omelet to run into this space. Continue cooking.
Step 6
Flip the omelet carefully once it is mostly cooked to finish cooking the top side. Use a thin spatula to loosen the edges. Carefully slide a wide spatula under the omelet and flip it. Place desired toppings on one half of the omelet after you turn it. Cook the turned omelet for only 30 seconds to one minute so it doesn't dry out.
Step 7
Fold the empty portion of the omelet over the filled portion. Carefully slide the omelet onto a plate.
Sample Answer
A person who is good at cooking
Ok then, the person I’m going to describe is my roommate when I was studying abroad. Her name is Grace. To be honest, she is the best ‘master chef’ I have ever known in my life, so she is the one I’ve decided to talk about.
As for when and where I knew her, it was almost 6 years ago when I was doing my bachelor degree in Australia. Grace and I were sharing the same apartment in Toowong, Brisbane. It was fortunate to have her as my roommate. Coz she is a local there, she did help me a lot when I was living far away from home. I still clearly remember she was the one who took me to the local market to find super cheap veggies. She did proofreading of my paper draft, which needed to be polished.
She is just not only a warm-hearted person. Another thing she did impress me is her cooking skill! Grace has cooked something really nice for me, and that was western-style omelet, which I consider really tastes amazingly good. She showed me how to cook this yummy dish in person. 用刚才的素材哦!(The ingredients you need are … the first step … finally you got the fantastic dish) Sometimes, we would probably serve the omelet as a dessert, with chocolate or vanilla ice-cream or with some fruits, like strawberries or yellow peaches. You can never imagine how wonderful the taste it is. Anyone would appreciate it if you got a chance to have a try.
So yeah, I guess that's why I think she is good at cooking.
