
The core pressure sensitive device in LP80411/00+TKE4202/24 series pressure transmitter uses high-quality silicon piezoresistive cores filled with oil. The transmitter can convert millivolt signals from transducers to standard distant transmission current signals, which can be easily connected to interface cards of PC, control instruments, intelligent instruments and PLC. This product can be widely used in industrial process control, petroleum, chemical, and metallurgy industries.
This product is accord with GB 3836.1-2000 “Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres—Part 1: General requirements” and GB 3836.4-2000 “Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres—Part 4: Intrinsic safety ‘i’ ”. IP rating of the instrument is Exia II CT4.

2. Configuration
Figure 1 is the transmitter configuration sketch. LP80411/00+TKE4202/24liquid level transmitter is consist of shell, amplifier, terminal blocks and hollow wire. Point meter and LCD display can be concluded according to custom’s requirement.
3. Installation
(1) Install the device in a place where can easily operate and maintenance it.
(2) Do not install near a vibration source.
(3) Do not install near a thermal source.
(4) Metal transducer should settle down on the vessel floor.
4. Electrical connections
Open the back cover of the device, there are connection terminals. The below figure is a sketch of the power connection.
Connection diagram of the intrinsically safe system shows in the below figure.
Parameters in the intrinsically safe system show meet the below regulations:
Uo≤Ui; Io≤Ii; Po≤Pi; Cc≤Co-Ci; Lc≤Lo-Li.
5. Zero point and gain adjustment
Pressure gauge has been calibrated before shipment. No other adjustment should take. If zero point and full range shift occurred during operation, calibration should be taken on the pressu re sou rce with high order accuracy every year. Here is how adjustment takes:
Adjust Potentiometer Z to zero with no pressure input, to make output current reach 4.000mA. Adjust gain of Potentiometer S to make output current reach 20.000mA with full range pressure. Repeat these operations to make the zero point and full range of the pressure gauge reach standard values.
6. Safety operation notice
(1) Avoid impact on the circuit performance during shipment and installation.
(2) Never intentionally touch isolating membrane in entry of the transmitter.
(3) Electric connection should strictly accord with the sketches to avoid damage amplifier circuit.
(4) During the installation of the input liquid transmitter, conducting wire can only be used for deliver the products.
(5) Transducer should be regularly cleaned.
(6) The water-proof wire should be protected to avoid abrasion, puncture and scratch. If those problems occur, maintenance fees would be charged by the company.
