一.形容词、副词固定搭配

He is dead/blind drink.  酩酊大醉

二.比较级固定结构

as long as    只要                   be senior to 比…年龄大

as far as      远到，就….而言        be junior to    比…年轻

as soon as    一….就    be superior to  比…优秀

as well as     既….又                be inferior to   比…差

more or less     或多或少    at most 最多

more than once  不止一次             at least 至少

三．同形的形容词、副词

late/early /firm/fast/slow /enough/long/straight/very/high/low/hard/just

下列单词以-ly结尾，但却是形容词而非副词：

lonely/ lovely/friendly/ugly/silly/likely/brotherly/timely等。

四. 两种形式的副词

1. 形容词表具体意义，副词表抽象意义：

close 接近/ closely 仔细地，密切地           deep深/ deeply 深刻地    

high高/ highly高度低                       wide宽广/ widely 广泛地       

2. 意义截然不同的两种形式副词:

free 免费地/freely 自由地      most 很，最/mostly 主要地            hard努力地/hardly几乎不
