49.(5分)Anxiety(焦虑)is the state of feeling worried or nervous. When you're anxious or stressed, you may feel something bad is going to happen.
When you think of starting a new project or going into a group situation with people you don't know, do you feel fearful? Do you come up with lots of reasons not to do fun but risky things like joining a hiking club or a volunteer organization? If these happen, it shows that you are probably anxious, and your anxiety will stop you from going after your dreams. In fact, anxiety makes you less confident, while getting started and taking action help your anxiety go down. But where do you begin?
These suggestions below will let you be the master of your anxiety, rather than letting it master you.
• Don't wait for your anxiety to go down
Your anxiety won't go down on its own. However, when you take action towards your goals instead of considering what anxiety you have, you will build self﹣efficacy(自我效能)little by little ﹣you begin to see yourself as someone who can take action and be successful even when you're feeling anxious.
• Set a realistic goal that makes sense for you
We all have different personalities and hobbies. We don't all want to be lawyers, have hundreds of friends, or run marathons. Whatever you want, just find out what is the simplest thing you can do to get started. Set a detailed goal, for example, "walk for 20minutes three times next week". You can't climb a mountain all at once and you're more likely to achieve your goals with inside motivation(动机)than when you're just trying to please others.
• Trust the process
Faith (信仰) is the first step to take action. Even if you don't have faith to begin with, faith will come if you just take the first step. The more you take action, the more likely you are to succeed and begin to trust the process. I often start writing a blog post not knowing exactly what I'm going to write. Now I've understood that if I sincerely communicate with my readers, then the content will appear naturally and anxiety will reduce slowly.

How young can social businesspeople be? Five high school students from Illinois, US, think anyone of any age can start a business that does good to the world.
Their business, called Born To Be Tees, sells onesies(连体衣)for $10 (66 yuan) each and gives the money it makes to charities.
The onesies they sell are more than just clothing for small children. They also have a little social attitude(态度). For example, the writing on one of them says, “Change my diaper(尿布), not my climate” to raise awareness(意识)of environmental protection.
“We grew up as family friends and share an interest in charity, started the business to raise money for charity,” said team member Caroline Berkman.
“A lot of people think, ‘There are so many problems, but we don’t have to deal with them. The next generation(代)will have to do it’,” said Berkman.
The students said they were bored with hearing it. Putting messages on onesies helps others realize “the next generation is being born today,” said team member Casey Borovsky.
It also shows that even the smallest people have a voice. “Everyone should have a voice and a say in what’s happening in the world,” Borovsky said.
These days, trying to solve social problems has become popular among young businesspeople, said Scott Issen, president and CEO of Chicago’s Future Founders Foundation, which encourages young people who don’t have much money to look at different careers.
“More and more of the young businesspeople play a social part in improving the world,” Issen said.
No matter what business they want to start, young people should give it a try, said Jennifer Kushell, CEO of Los Angeles-based Your Success Now, an organization that gives tools to young businesspeople around the world.
If you’re interested, go start something,” Kushell said.

Nowadays, many students do homework with the help of the Internet like Andy. They search information online, use apps or discuss through social networks like QQ and WeChat.

John’s Chinese teacher often asks students to give speeches on great authors. When it comes to John’s turn, he usually searches online, picks out certain stories and makes PowerPoint presentations.
“I’ve become skilled at finding information online and using Microsoft Office,” Wang said.
However, many students think this trend (趋势) also brings up problems. Some students just copy the answers online without thinking. They become lazy.
A head teacher in Andy and John’s school said that knowing how to use the Internet is important. The key is to have good self-control.
“No matter how difficult the problem is, think about it independently (地) first,” the teacher said. “Be sure to understand the reasons behind the answers, or you won’t make progress. If you don’t have confidence about your self-control, ask your parents for help.”

七.短文填空 先通读下面的短文,然后根据短文内容和表格,在空格内填入一个适当的单词,使意思完整(共5分)
I used to be the messiest person alive.Over the years, through watching others and by trying again and again, I have finally found ways to come up with plans, organize them and follow through with them.
Make a general list of everything you need to have and do to make your plan happen.Make a list of all of steps that need to be completed and think about what needs to be done.
Detail everything completely and read over it so you can start coming up with some good ideas of how to carry out your plans.
You should make sure that if ,for some reason ,way one doesn’t work, you have way two and way three to depend on.so, different ways are needed at hand. It’s just a matter of being organized.Chances are that there is always more than one way of doing things, and that if one of those ways doesn’t work, one of the others will.
Committing(承诺) yourself to finishing at least part if not all of your plan at once is also necessary. It will show that you not only have ways to get things going, but that you are interested in the results gained with making the move to get everything done.
If you make a promise to finish before a certain time, make sure that you carry that out, and be sure to do everything in the way you said you would, within the time limit()you set for yourself.
Don’t try to solve more things all at a time. All that does is slow your progress, take away your attention and make you lose your interest and energy.
Carrying out an effective plan requires being as organized as possible. You will only achieve this by sticking to the order of the plan and not changing,or trying to do more at a time.
Last but not the least, you should never give up things half-way.It will only make everyone around you angry, including yourself.Unfinished plans are a waste of time, energy and, in some cases, even money.
So, don’t be afraid of organization. The older we get, the more necessary it becomes to have the skills to follow through with confidence and to be able to carry through plans in an organized and manageable way.It pays to be organized, after all.
