The Witches Of Pendle The Monkeys Paw

I feel most sorry for Jannet in the story.

Jannet needed love from her family but her childhood wasn't like any other children's, a happy childhood. Villagers didn't like Jannet, her father died, her sister excluded her, Grandmother was difficult to stay with and her mother hit her over the head and pulled her hair but no one detered her mother On the contrary, they laughed! Jannet was only a child so these was very dark and inhumane to her and these demeanours broke her heart. Jannet wanted to be happy, she wanted to be warm, to wear shoes, to eat good food. She was looking forward to getting love and she hoped someone to care for her, that's all. But her family gave her nothing and she was afraid and she hated them. She lived hungry and cold with witches. After she was happy for years at Read Hall, when Mr. Nowell died, villagers were afraid of Janet because they thought she was a witch but actually she wasn't. She was cold and hungry again. Jannet was undeserved but no one could help her. So at last she died. 

I think Jannet was very pathetic because she couldn't get love from her mother. Relative to us, just as well we weren't born at that time!  We are luck because parents give us almost anything we want and we are like flowers in the greenhouse. We can get love from everyone around us.

《The Monkey's Paw》

                                                                                                         July 2nd       Monday 

                                                                                                                                                 Today I was going to visit my old friend, Mr. and Mrs. White. I was busy working in the day so I planned to visit them in the evening but unfortunately, it was raining and dark outside in the evening and I felt cold. When I arrived at their home, White and his son played chess carefully. The White was passional to me and I had some whisky to warm me on a cold night. I also told the little family some interesting and strange stories. I told them I saw lots of strange and wonderful things in India and I told them something about the monkey's magical paw, from one of my friend. It can give three wishes to three people but they don't bring happiness. I told them my three wishes and I was unhappy because I missed my son and wife. White wanted the paw but I couldn't give it to someone because it brings unhappiness with it. But White didn't listen so I told him how to use and he gave me some money. At last, we sat down at the table and began to have dinner. I told wonderful stories to them and we forgot the monkey's paw. They asked me many questions about India. When I stood up to leave, it was very late and I had a very good dinner and a very nice evening.

《Under the Moon》

I like Rilla in the story because Rilla was a beautiful girl and she was very young but famous. She took care of our homeland and wanted to help planet Earth. Although she knew Earth Commander, Gog didn't want to talk about the AOL, he always wanted to go to Mars. Rilla and her friends persevere in persuading. She was very kind-hearted and insistent.
