Unit2 Healthy Eating(说课)
Hello, everyone. Today I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is Unit2 Healthy Eating in Book 3 . It is made up of six parts.( 我的说课有六部分组成:1.教材分析;2.学生分析; 3.教学方法,4.教学目标,5.教具使用,6.教学过程分析)
1. The analysis of the teaching material: 教材分析
This unit gives students a better understanding of healthy eating. It encourages students to examine their own eating practices and see whether they are eating a healthy diet or not. It is hoped that students can use this information to monitor and improve their diet in the future. Reading part plays a very important part in this unit. By studying the lesson, Ss can improve their reading ability, learn more about the issues involved in healthy eating. At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences to comprehend the passage better. The Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. Of course, the Ss should receive some moral education. Let the Ss keep a healthy eating and build a healthy boby
2. The analysis of the students: 学生分析:
The Ss have known something about the healthy eating through the Internet and other ways. They are lack of vocabulary. They don’t often use English to express themselves and communicate with others. Some Ss are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes. So give them opportunity as possible as I can to practice.
3. The analysis of the teaching method:教学方法
Make the Ss the real masters in class while the teacher himself acts as director; 以学生为主导,教师为主体,教师在教学中扮演一个导演的作用,学生为主角。

4. The analysis of the teaching aims:教学目标
▪knowledge aim:(知识目标) develop Ss’ basic skills of reading, such as predicting, skimming, scanning …
▪ability aim:(能力目标) encourage Ss to practice, participate, and co-operate in the classroom activities.
▪emotional aim: (情感目标)let Ss to know something about food and have a better comprehension towards a balanced diet.
5.The analysis of the teaching aids:教具使用
a projector , a tape recorder , multimedia, a blackboard
6.The analysis of the teaching steps / procedures:教学过程分析
Step 1. Lead-in and warming up 导入和热身(5mins)
1) Lead-in: Show a piece of news, let students know the necessary and the importance of the healthy eating.
2) Warming up: Arrange two activities using,let students do them before from the internet. Write down the answers. Check them in class.
Purpose设计目的: Arouse the students’ interest of study. Help students understand reading part.
Step 2. Preparation for reading读前(8mins)
Have a free talk in pairs. Do the group work.

Step3. Fast reading(5mins)
Read the passage as quickly as you can, try your best to understand the text. I will show the questions on the screen and let some of you get the main idea of the each paragraph.

Step4. Careful reading (12mins)
Read the text individually, use question—and—answer activity.
Purpose设计目的: Further understand the text (Train further reading ability) to find out some different sentences and details of the text.
Step5. Post reading(5mins)
True or faulse questions.
Step6. Conclusion (8mins)
listen to the tape and retell the story
Step7. Homework
Purpose设计目的: Solid the information about this part. Practice the ability of using language.
