How are you doing?

In Shanghai, autumn comes in September, October and November. It’s sunny, windy, cool and dry in Shanghai. In autumn I wear a T-shirt and a pair of trousers. I can see the yellow leaves fall and fall. I like flying a kite and riding a bicycle in the park with autumn. And I can see a lot of fruit. I like eating apples best. I am happy. I like autumn best.

M4U3 My favourite season

   My favourite season is winter. Winter comes in December, January and February in Shanghai. It’s cloudy, windy, cold and dry. In winter I like to wear a sweater, a coat, a pair of gloves and a scarf. Christmas is in winter. I can have a Christmas party with my friends. In winter, I can see snow. It’s beautiful. I like to make a snowman. I like to drink hot chocolate in winter. 

M4U2 A visit to a park

It is Sunday morning. It’s sunny. I take a bus to a park with my parents. The park is big and beautiful. There are some flowers and trees in it. Look! There is a fountain. Some girls are taking photos beside it. What’s that? Oh, it’s an aviary. There are many birds in it. I like the birds. I take the photos. In front of the aviary, there is a greenhouse. We can see many flowers in it. I have a picnic in the afternoon with my parents. We are happy.

   Hello, I’m Joe. I live at No. 145 Huaihai Road. There are a lot of shops near my home. I often go to the bookshop. It’s near my home. It’s big. There are a lot of books in it. There is a restaurant near the bookshop. On Sunday, My parents and I often go there and have dinner. We can see a clothes shop between the restaurant and the hotel. There are many clothes for children. There is a watch shop beside the hotel. Every day many people visit the shop. They buy the watches. I live in a busy neighbourhood. I like it very much.

   Welcome to Zhuyuan Primary School. Our school is big and beautiful. 

   This is our classroom. It is big and clean. There are some desks and chairs in it. There is a big blackboard on the wall. We can read and write in the classroom.

This is our computer lab. There are many computers in it. We have computer lessons here. We like playing computer games.

This is our library. It’s big and clean. There are a lot of books in it. We like reading books.

This is our canteen. It’s clean. Teachers have lunch here.

Look! That’s our playground. It’s behind the school building. It’s big. We can play football and skip rope on the playground. 

Our school is nice. I love my school.

I have a friend. He is my classmate. His name is Jim. He is ten years old. His eyes are big are black. He has a round face. He’s tall. He has one little sister. His father is a doctor. His mother is a teacher. He likes playing football. He has a toy bear. He can swim very fast, but he can’t ride a bicycle. I like my friend.

    I have a small family. There are three people in my family. They are my father, mother and me. My father is a doctor. He’s tall and thin. He can drive a car. He likes helping sick people. My mother is a teacher. She is beautiful. She has long black hair and big eyes. She is kind. She likes her students. I’m Mary. I’m ten years old. I’m tall. I have a new dress. I can skate. I like singing and dancing. I love my family. We love each other.
