3.仔细阅读P80课文，划出下列短语，试着翻译一下并体会其用法。

5.语言点导学

1) --- I’d like to go with you! 我想和你一起去！

  --- So would I 我也想！

1I’d like to… = I would like to… 其中“would + V-原”可用来表示想象，推测或可能。

eg： It would be lovely to go to New York.

② So would I 紧接上一句话而来，意为“我也想和你一起去”。

   “So + 助动词 / 情态动词 /be动词 + 主语”，“…… 也是这样 / 如此”。倒装句式，表示前一句中主语的情况也同样适用于后者。 

eg：--- Lily works hard at her lessons. 莉莉学习很用功。--- So does Lucy. 露西也是如此。

   I am from Daqing ,                           . Lingling 也是。

   The boy can speak English,                           .我也是。

   Daming watched TV last night,                        , 他也是。

   I have finished my homework,                        . 她也是。

③ 如果前一个句子是否定句，则用“neither / nor + 助动词 / 情态动词 /be动词 + 主语”，“…… 也是这样 / 如此”。倒装句式，表示前一句中主语的情况也同样适用于后者。

eg: -----Lily doesn’t work hard at her lessons. 莉莉学习不用功。

-----Neither does Lucy. 露西也是如此。

   The boy can’t speak English,                           .我也是。

   Daming didn’t watch TV last night,                        , 他也是。

I haven’t finish my homework,                        . 她也是。

④而如果只是对前面一句话所说的事加以肯定，用句型“So＋主语＋助动词 / 情态动词 / be动词”表 示“确实如此 / 的确这样”的意思。

eg: The boy played football just now. So he did.

 你能做出这三道题吗？

  It is cold today,                                  . . 确实如此。

  It is cold today.                                   . 昨天也是。

  It isn’t cold today，                                  . 昨天也是。

2）stay in touch = keep in touch 保持联系

stay/ keep in touch with sb. 和某人保持联系

lose touch 失去联系

lose touch with sb. 和某人失去联系

3）although it would take so long that you’d need to come back immediately.

① although “尽管…, (但是)…”, 引导让步状语从句，【注意】although 与but 不能同时使用。

 Although she wants to go to Paris, she doesn’t want to fly. 

= She wants to go to Paris, but she doesn’t want to fly.

② so…that… 引导程度结果状语从句，意为“如此……以至于……”, 其中so 是副词，意为“如此，这么”，后接形容词或副词原级，that后接从句。

【辨析】so that 引导目的状语从句， “以便，为了”, 从句中常用can, may等情态动词。

如：The problem is _________ difficult ______ none of us can work it out. 

She came to the concert hall early__________ she could see the famous pop star.
