自2008年11月起英国领馆对英签在职证明作出如下新规定：

1.不能使用统一格式模板，按以下要求，具体语言由客人自己组织

2.语言可以用中文或中英文打印

3.在职证明所含内容：

1)4张公司抬头纸，右下角必须盖单位公章，单位负责人签名，负责人职位，负责人的单位直线电话，另注明单位地址电话传真

2)具体内容必须包括：

申请人护照首页信息、在其单位的职务、工资标准(月收入)、来此单位的工作时间单位批准的赴英具体旅行时间(从××年××月××日至××年××月××日)、保证按时回国、确认旅行回国后单位仍保留与申请人的劳动关系

4.不得出现“仅供签证使用”字样
